Why the hell are you so concerned about Toby Hemingway's Wiki page? You remove "fan fluff" and "name dropping". You're so anal. A lot of actor pages mentioned those types of things. Toby being the inspiration for the novel A Rose to the Fallen IS a fact about him that you removed. It had nothing to do with being neutral, idiot. It's a fact just like him being in Feast of Love is a fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.112.57 (talk) 13:51, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
What is your problem with A Rose to the Fallen?
What is your damn problem with Toby inspiring a book? More to the point, what's your problem with A Rose to the Fallen? Toby inspired the book. It's a FACT! Not promotion. People interested in him should know. It's an HONOR to inspire a book. You seem to be the only person who doesn't think so. You're wasting your time by deleting it over and over, because it will just keep being added again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.112.57 (talk) 00:06, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Editing Romper Stomper to the terms they used in the movie is vandalism? Total BS if you ask me but you do have jerks and power abusers out there, as anyone what does some dimwit know anyways I only own the movie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.76.31.244 (talk) 22:56, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
hello, i have been a frequent user of wikipedia and i was wondering why i got a message telling me to refrain from making unconstructive edits on a page which i can guarentee i ahve never been to.

here is the link, and i can guarentee you i have never been to this page and i never make any edits unless it is something i am 100% positive about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.162.66.67 (talk) 01:52, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Max Keeping
Greetings,
On several recent occasions, Mr. Keeping has been involved in community events and is announced by Winston Maxwell Keeping which is inaccurate. I had noticed you referenced Susan Sharrings retirement article as a source however, this information is innacurate because Ms. Sherring herself obtained this name from wikipedia prior to Mr. keepings knowledge of its intended use.
In the future please refrain from the use of 'Winston Maxwell Keeping' as its use is nafarious.

Putting a cited blurb about the fact that she's in an innovative game that was just recently released is not promotion anymore than posting recent movies or albums is promotion. It's a project that she stars in and spent a good deal of time working on. What's the problem? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.82.107.56 (talk) 23:36, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Toby Hemingway
It's not UNSOURCED MATERIAL idiot. Check his IMDB page. The movie "Now" is listed under his name and so is his character's name. Why are you policing Toby's Wiki page? I see you there making edits all the time. Are you an obsessed fan? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.112.57 (talk) 21:01, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
De Laurentiis page
Hi. It looks like one of the sources you added to the Dino De Laurentiis page wasn't formatted quite right, so the link is missing. When you have a moment, could you go back and check to make sure all the coding is correct? (I'm not too sure what went wrong myself, otherwise I'd fix it myself.) Thanks! 68.146.64.9 (talk) 17:56, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Changes with {{uw-genre3}}
Hi Dl2000. I noticed that you recently changed {{uw-genre3}} dif, which I'm ok with, but because {{uw-genre4}} does not exist, this series no longer has a final warning. Should one be created? -- WikHead (talk) 04:28, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you! Your reply couldn't have come at a better time, as I was just scanning the list looking for where to go after genre-level-3. As long as I know that {{uw-generic4}} can be used as the followup, my "personal" concerns have been fully addressed. Happy editing :) -- WikHead (talk) 04:59, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
Kelly Osbourne
I saw that you removed my information regarding Kelly Osbourne's middle name. The only reason I changed this was because Kelly's twitter page, http://twitter.com/MissKellyO , stated on November 15, 2010 that her middle name is not Michelle and that it is in fact only Lee. She said that it had been posted on wikipedia incorrectly. Because her page is listed as official, it has been determined that it is Kelly and her affiliates monitoring what is posted on twitter. I'm sorry if this offended you, but I think that Kelly probably knows her name better than you do.
Warning!! Unsourced!!
The only person Unsourced is you!! You are clearly not a genuine fan of Chris de Burgh, like so many others on Wikipedia, just a village idiot who has nothing better to do. Facts!!:Chris de Burgh does have a British passport due to his father being British and working for the British Government and this meant his children had to travel on a British passport during a very sensitive time,i.e. "The Cold War". Many people in the world hold passports of Countries that they were not born in,or reside in. For example many French speakers in Canada, would view themselves as French!! I have travelled all over Europe to Chris de Burgh concerts and never once has he been interviewed or introduced as the "British" singer, but always as the "Irish" singer. See his daughters official website,in the Bio section where she states that "she is the daughter of the famous "Irish" singer,Chris de Burgh. I am sure she would know better than you or i,exactly what Nationality her father is!!!!! Also see on the Official Chris de Burgh website link to his official facebook page.....Hometown...Dublin!!."Capital City of the Republic of Ireland"!! You would serve yourself better to always look deep into each and every fact before following the herd!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.147.134.97 (talk) 04:29, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry that is not how Wikipedia works. We do not include stuff just because you say so. Can you provide some better evidence that he is widely regarded, or regards himself, as being Irish. His official web site FAQ says Q. What Nationality is Chris?
A. Well, he was born in Argentina but he holds British Nationality. (I came here from the RFC) Martin Hogbin (talk) 00:03, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Date fix on my draft of Steve Irwin?
Hi. Could I get you to run your DateFix script on User:Richwales/Drafts/Steve Irwin? Or, alternatively, give me the necessary instructions so that I can run the script myself?
I just finished doing a major restructuring of this article, and I was about to install my new version of the article when I noticed you had done a massive automated cleanup of the dates. I don't want to toss all your work, and I'd rather not go through my draft copy and fix all the dates by hand when you've got this nice tool. :-)
I also noticed one apparent bug in your script. In a reference talking about a species of snail named for Steve Irwin, the Latin text "Crikey steveirwini gen. et sp. nov." had the "nov." changed to "Nov." — not appropriate in this case, of course, because it's not an abbreviation of the month name. Richwales (talk · contribs) 18:37, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- Never mind — I figured out how to invoke your script on my draft. My bug comment still stands. Richwales (talk · contribs) 23:32, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Van Damme pronounciation
O sorry, I wasn't aware of the fact that JCVD is French and that Van Damme is a French name. Moron. Van Damme is a Dutch name and JVCD is Belgian. Van Damme isn't even his real name so the French pronounciation of his name doesn't make sense and is completely useless. But I assume you're French-Canadian and you Francophones are a little butt-hurt when it comes to languages. But fine, if you want to misinform people here on Wikipedia, that's fine by me, I haven't taken Wikipedia seriously in years (because of people like you). See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.10.46.8 (talk) 00:27, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
With apologies
I've clobbered your edit to Kick-Ass (film). I feel slightly bad about it but you made your edit using a script. I'm guessing you can repeat it without too much difficulty if you really want to.
I would've taken quite a long time to make my edit again. Also there was a problem with the article, at some stage an editor seems to have removed the date fields leaving only the less imporant accessdate fields.
I know which date format I prefer when I have to type it but I also know your changes were in accordance with policy so I can't really object if you make them again. Apologies for knocking out your edit. -- Horkana (talk) 02:34, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
== Elias C Laycock ==.
You have completly vandalised the article. From going from an informative article that gave the reader a lot of information on Laycock's life and rowing races you have cut it down to the mearest outline which gives a false view. if an article needs reforming to confirm with current standards then fine, do it, but do not remove 90% of the content. The whole point of Wiki is that various people add what they know or have availabe so than everybody can benefit. If you cut stuff that defeats the purpose. Fair enough if something is factually wrong but if you don't like the style, don't just cut. Flags33 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flags33 (talk • contribs) 04:08, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
U2 3D date changes
Can you please tell me why you reformatted all the dates in the U2 3D article? This article is about an American film, produced and distributed by two American companies. While the stars in the film are not American, this doesn't necessarily mean that the dates should reflect as such. Edits like these require a consensus. –Dream out loud (talk) 20:32, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Any advantage of catch phrase over catchphrase?
Hello, Only for consistance. Regards. 204.174.87.29 (talk) 02:23, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) According to Merriam-Webster (US), catch phrase as two words is incorrect. It should only be spelled as catchphrase. The Cambridge dictionary (UK) agrees.
As Wiktionary is a dictionary edited by anyone, and not of the stature of either Webster or Cambridge, Wiktionary’s use of catch phrase as the primary form and catchphrase as an alternative form (similarly, the Wikipedia article, Catch phrase) would seem to be incorrect.
Personally, I think that the Wikipedia article should be changed from Catch phrase to Catchphrase in keeping with both American and British authorities. Then, an editor should use AWB to globally change the spelling throughout Wikipedia from catch phrase to catchphrase. That’s my 2¢ worth! — SpikeToronto 05:34, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- All my changes or even interwiki were reverted. I am totally helpless in front of those people. It's so sad. 204.174.87.29 (talk) 21:40, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
'Friendly Mutton Chops'
'Mutton chops' are simply the sideburn portion of the facial hair Lemmy sports. Adding the mustache turns them into what is called 'friendly mutton chops'. I am not suggesting his mutton chops are themselves 'friendly'. See this chart for info:

Lynn Ferguson
Lynn Ferguson also uses the name "Lynn Tweddle" as noted in her bio at IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0272521/).
Also, when she appeared on her brother's talk show on April 16, 2008 (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okv7LFTyMF8 - go to about 2:25), she and Craig noted that her married name was Tweddle, although they were vague about whether she was still married to him. But on the show episode blurb, her name was listed as Lynn Tweddle, and during the interview she said, "My name's Tweddle." This interview clip is already listed on her wiki page under the "Source" section. Therefore, I don't think her name is "controversial." - June w (talk) 08:23, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
- I cannot find the April 16, 2008 interview on the official CBS YouTube site. Is it sufficient if I list the interview (as a reference) with a link to the YouTube clip posted by a non-CBS user? I cannot find an online interview with her using Tweddle, and Tweddle is not listed on her own website. But dangit, she said, "My name's Tweddle" on her brother's show! - June w (talk) 00:38, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for finding the articles! I think what you added is sufficient. You listed her spouse's name and two references; whether she uses 'Lynn Tweddle' or 'Lynn Ferguson' is up to her, and Wiki readers should be smart enough to figure that out from her spouse's name. Thanks again -- I really appreciate your responses. - June w (talk) 05:34, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I saw a need for this article and so I wrote it. But the article could benefit from expansion and further sourcing. As you are listed at the WikiProject Film/Canadian cinema task force, perhaps you might care to help out? Expanding on the school's programs? Listing the awards its presented (and recipients)? How other media in Canada recognize the intitute and its efforts? Thanks, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 07:26, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Erroneous date formatting
This edit applied some date formatting to a filename in the article on Sam Watson (activist), with predictable consequence. Aside: The script should of course leave filenames alone, but seeing that it didn't, I'm disappointed that it did not change "Jan 26 2007" to "26 January 2007". -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 06:31, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Lights social networking information removed?
I would like to know why you removed my post about Lights social networking activity. I simply stated that she uses these outlets to keep in contact with her fans and indicated the frequency of her usage. How is this in anyway promotional? There was no bias, it was neutral, I wasn't telling anyone to go to her pages and become a fan or buy her products?? Can you explain a little better than you did please?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rachelmf12 (talk • contribs) 03:10, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Juliette (TV series)
Hello! Your submission of Juliette (TV series) at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:57, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Juliette (TV series)
On 24 March 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Juliette (TV series), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Juliette (1956–66), the Canadian variety series which followed Hockey Night in Canada, attracted more than a million viewers per episode? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

unify formatting per MoS
Hi, I see you have been changing access and archive dates from YYYY-MM-DD to Daynumber Monthname Year to "unify formatting per MoS". Actually MOS:DATEUNIFY says "Access and archive dates in references should be in either the reference format, or YYYY-MM-DD". I'm writing to suggest that you leave the YYYY-MM-DD format untouched in future, where it appears in a citation's accessdate or archivedate parameter. The reasoning is pretty obvious: YYYY-MM-DD is a permitted format, more compact than any other, that clearly distinguishes access and archive dates (which don't need to be recognized at a glance) from the source date, which does. Here are some examples:
- Cite web: Kamco (12 July 2005). "Kamco Media Release". Department of Infrastructure. Archived from the original (PDF) on 2011-03-05.
- Cite news: "Locked into myki, public is owed answers". The Sydney Morning Herald. 25 February 2010. Retrieved 2011-03-18.
- Cite book: Walford, Geoffrey (1986). Life in Public Schools. Taylor & Francis. p. 202. ISBN 9780416371802. Retrieved 2009-02-02.
{{cite book}}
: More than one of|pages=
and|page=
specified (help)
So please could you restrict your no doubt good faith efforts to mainstream dates, and leave access and archive dates intact? Thanks - Pointillist (talk) 21:47, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
