AfD nomination of Mark Germino

[edit]

I have nominated Mark Germino, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mark Germino. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Page titles

[edit]

I see that you recently created a page with the misspelled title Nurshell, and then later created a second, identical article with the title Nutshell (Christian group). In future, if you feel that the title of an article needs to be changed, please use the Move feature rather than create a duplicate article. Thanks. --Russ (talk) 21:41, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On a related subject, please do not use quotation marks around song titles.  – ukexpat (talk) 16:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Barratt.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:34, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Denny Laine

I don't know if I should do this here, but since you put full details for Hometown Girls, that must mean you have it. Please reach me. Thanks.Sposato (talk) 16:01, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Prize (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mattg82 (talk) 16:04, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

Regarding Speedy Deletion

Hello, Dms557. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created , Waiting for Goddard, has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources which are unconnected with the subject and which provide verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.

Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.

The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process.

You may find this tool useful for finding sources: Google custom search

Don't feel discouraged. My first attempts at creating articles were deleted too. You can ask for help at the TEAHOUSE

There is more information at Wikipedia:Community_portal Cheers, and happy editing. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 07:02, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
