February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jim1138. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to H.D. Woodson High School— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:18, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Pen[edit]

Are you kidding me? Students who thought they were bad, were often told by Principal Curry, "You think you bad, you ain't bad." "This pen is bad, because It will write butt right up out of here." It was a tradition he had no problems keeping. Cut it out. Jim1138 (talk) 07:19, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Look please stay off what I'm doing. I'm new at this and am trying to put this all together for our alumni board to determine what should be there. It's frustrating when people like you interrupt my slow progress by making comments about things you know nothing about.. Leave my page alone... Let me try and finish or simply explain to me what/why I'm doing it wrong Dornessa (talk) 17:08, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Coach Robert "Bob" Headen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Just a friendly heads up. I've declined the speedy deletion, because I disagree that there's no good faith claim of importance here. However, the article is not ready for main space with only a YouTube video as a reference, so I've moved it to Draft:Robert Headen. Take a few minutes to carefully read through the links in your welcome message above, especially the sections about notability and reliable, independent references. Then take some time to make this into a quality, encyclopedic article. Be sure to have it reviewed before trying to move it into article space.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 16:50, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lost: I had a page placed as a draft (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Robert_Headen). I worked on the page and tried to remove it from draft status. I changed the name back to (Coach Robert "Bob" Headen) All my work is gone. I'm new to this and am totally upset that all my work is gone. H.D. Woodson High School copyright problem[edit]

Song lyrics are copyright, and we're not allowed to include them here. Sorry, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 02:51, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, pretty much all of the history section was copied from http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/news/article/13034957/end-of-an-error, a copyright web page. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. Please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 03:43, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
