I pulled that quote straight from that article that I cited. I didnt write it but I can edit it and make it sound better. I believe that the writer of the article that I cited quoted something. Please don't be put off by the disjointed and sometimes blunt nature of discussion here. And don't be afraid to make significant changes to articles - or too upset if others disagree. Thanks for the message. I'm well aware that I'm dealing with people from different countries and cultures, and who might have very different beliefs and backgrounds, and who also have different styles of writing. Having worked in animal welfare for 20 years, I'm also aware that the topic of pain in animals is such a tricky one because it can not be proved one way or the other.
