Apologies for not responding earlier. In respect to your request for advice on Draft:Jay Jones (rapper) the main issue relates to the sources provided. The first reference to Young Money Entertainment is what is considered a primary source as YME is the company promoting Jay Jones and therefore is not considered an independent source. The second reference to the South Florida Times is an acceptable reliable reference. The third reference to Complex Media appears to be a reliable independent source, whilst the fourth reference is just a lyrics site and carries no weight whatsoever.

In respect to content the draft article uses a lot of weasel words, such as "music mogul", "a legend in the New Orleans rap genre" and "studio baby", which are seen as an attempt to puff up the importance of the statement - you need to keep any statements factual and objective.

Finally in the Discography you need to separate Jones' releases (as a solo artist) from those where he just appears on the song by another artist. You need to remove the links from the titles to iTunes, Spotify, Datpiff and YouTube as direct links are actively discouraged and iTunes and YouTube are not considered acceptable, independent reliable sources anyway. I would personally cut the Videography section unless you have supporting references (not YouTube) as to his roles in those videos.

Let me know if you need any further advice - happy editing. Dan arndt (talk) 02:46, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
