Wikipedia reports verifiable facts reported by reliable sources -- it doesn't speculate about how to dig up information on living people. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 03:34, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010[edit]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Talk:Charles Karel Bouley. Thank you. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 04:03, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lizzie Borden[edit]

Oops, I didn't mean to mark your edit as vandalism - sorry for that. However, there's been no conclusive evidence she was a lesbian, and although people can speculate all they want, Wikipedia is mainly a repository for referenced, proven information. You're welcome to add information in another section - just not in the header, where people might take it as absolute fact. Cheers, and happy editing. Just a clarification for your information: you are allowed to remove messages from your own talk page -- doing so to a warning is taken as a tacit admission that you have read it and have therefore been warned -- but you may not under anything but the most dire circumstances remove other people's comments from article talk pages. Continuing to do so after having been warned not to may lead to your being blocked from editing.

Also, you may want to review the rules about edit warring. Beyond My Ken (talk) 07:24, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Charles Karel Bouley[edit]

You have made an edit that could be regarded as defamatory. Please do not restore this material to the article or its talk page. If you restore this material to the article or its talk page once more, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. See Blocking policy: Biographies of living people.   Will Beback  talk  01:05, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here's your answer, from Karel himself: "Now, as someone whose partner was HIV positive for our entire relationship, 11.5 years...", and "I slept with an HIV positive man all the time for over a decade and I'm HIV negative because it's a hard virus to get and easy to prevent."[1] Got it? He's HIV negative. I suggest you move on from this and the Lizzie Borden article pronto, lest you fall under further suspicion and wind up tagged as a sock of a certain banned user. It's a biiiiiig wiki, and you should move along. Cheers... Doc talk 01:34, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
