Adding Unsourced Information

[edit]

Where are you getting your information for the deathmatches you are posting beyond February 23, 2007? If you are not citing a source, it can not be considered factual and is considered vandalism. TheHornyBug 20:18, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do i cite source

[1]

Can you please cite your sources when adding to List of Celebrity Deathmatch episodes? Whenever you add new info, you should link to a site so that the information can be verified. You can do this by adding it to the External links section if it applies to the whole article or create a new References section for citations. TheHornyBug 22:03, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! WIKISCRIPPS 07 20:19, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How to verify your information

[edit]

You can do this in two ways.

1) By a direct citation. If you were to make a statement, you could cite the source by adding a citation link at the end of a sentence. For instance, if I read on a TVGuide.com episode list that Tina Fey was going to fight Jon Stewart and wished to add this information to an article I might say:

Tina Fey is scheduled to fight Jon Stewart [1]

2) By adding a link to External links. If the article has an External links section I can just add something like this to it:

Celebrity Deathmatch Episode list from TVGuide.com

Please do one of the two for your latest edit to List of Celebrity Deathmatch episodes, or it will be removed because it is unverifiable information. Thanks TheHornyBug 02:01, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mar 9 Match

[edit]

If the matches you are posting will happen on the 9th, link me to the site where you found this information. Since you are not providing any references whenever you make edits, if you link me, I can add the information to the article and properly verify it. TheHornyBug 00:56, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I need to know where you got these matches. Otherwise, it's against Wikipedia's policy to add it. Did you hear about the matches from a website? If so, what is the website? TheHornyBug 07:03, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can't see it on IMDB. Please link to the exact page where I can find it, or I can't add it. Same with the TI match. TheHornyBug 21:36, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Unless, you give me the exact address, I'm not going to post it. I'm not going to do any searching. TheHornyBug 06:47, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I'm not going to go looking around. Either copy and paste the exact address, or we can just forget about it. TheHornyBug 19:25, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiablity

[edit]

According to Wikipedia's policy on verifiablity: the burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material. Thus, I will not search to find evidence for YOUR claims. You must find it yourself. I'm already going out of my way to try to help you add your additions because I believe you're acting in good faith. Note also that a forum is not a reputable source of information. Also, your recent links to Celebrity Deathmatch were not working so I removed them. TheHornyBug 07:19, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just copy and paste the URL of your bookmarked pages. TheHornyBug 06:43, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sure you can. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Favi4et See I just copied and pasted the URL of your talk page. Do the same for whatever pages showed you the new fights. TheHornyBug 04:36, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry

[edit]

I just want to say that I apologize for pointing the blame at you for the CDM list. We've found our culprit, and he's gonna pay the price now. Once again, I'm sorry. Link 486 13:07, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
