Removing Content

Sorry, I thought it might be helpful for people working on the POA Differences, so they wouldn't have to flip back every time to make sure something wasn't already mentioned. Treebark (talk) 15:24, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Who's Forest? And I see the only real contributors have been me, and you. Treebark (talk) 22:44, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
I see, he only had a break between the 16-25 and then he's been editing ever since then a little bit expect for July 5th. I really don't think he has left. Treebark (talk) 02:12, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Sorry for thing on the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (film). I didn't have time to reasearch it but I wanted it off until it was sourced. Thanks for sourcing it. Anything not sourced is ussally reverted by me. I dislikle speculation unless it is needed. I think Treebark feels the same way to from a message he left me on my talkpage. Thanks. ForestH2 t/c 23:56, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

New York

Passed HM on the way out today, I'll be flying home today and then editing a little bit more. My last 100 edits go through July 7th. Just thought I'd let you know. Sorry for the late reply but William Melling appears in GOF and he looks tottally different than Harry in POA so I don't think there related. ForestH2 t/c 15:44, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Before the page is deleted make sure you cast a vote so the thing that happend with Nick Shim doesn't happend again! ForestH2 03:28, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Edits

Erm....two questions for you Fbv65edel. I wanted to know when you voted on the AFD for Dawlish why you said to merge him to Minor members of the Order of the Phoenix. First of all, he remains loyal to Fudge during Book 5 so I don't think he is an Order Member. Also click here to get a real edit count. Every time you make an edit the edit count also adds an edit. You might want to put the link on your userpage. Regards, Treebark (talk) 15:15, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you very much for making my time in Wikipedia super. I have decided to leave and I don't think I will be back. Thank you again for helping me and making my time in Wikipedia super. Best Regards, ForestH2 t/c 23:26, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

I might edit under an IP adress a little bit and maybe a few edits here and there but basiclly not much. I'll try to do as much as I can-maybe a couple edits a week. Or every few weeks. ForestH2 03:50, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

IMDB

Why can't we use IMDB sources? Treebark (talk) 19:02, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

I see. I won't use IMDB sources anymore then....I don't think anybody even in Negotiations for the sixth film. Casting would begin next year. Or maybe I'm mistaken? Treebark (talk) 19:18, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
All right. We need to keep up with citations. I was searching through old news stories this morning and found a bunch we hadn't added. Treebark (talk) 19:22, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
I just saw Forest left. Treebark (talk)
For instance, Forest found a timeline from March. I found an article about Gleeson rumors on Order of the Phoenix. Not that it provided anything. Treebark (talk) 21:29, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Update to Leaky

I forgot to tell you but I asked Leaky why they didn't have any sources on there cast and I am awaiting a response. I don't know how to it for IMDB so maybe you can do it. Treebark (talk) 00:11, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

That does make sense I got one response back saying they are the news and one that they take infromation from IMDB. There are still others I need to recieve though. Treebark (talk) 13:44, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
More updates to come later. Treebark (talk) 03:03, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Sorry

I thought you were removing the "in." Turns out I am. Sorry for the mistake. Treebark (talk) 03:11, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Oh yes. I see what you mean though I think that for users who have past records of vandalizing they should have templates. You don't have records of vandalizing. By the way, I reverted that table you were going to revert. Treebark (talk) 03:19, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
I recieved another reply a few minutes ago saying..."Hi. The places we list sources our under interviews" which they clearly aren't. Uhhh....three more people left to give me a response. Treebark (talk) 03:22, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

HP articles & "split comment"

Greetings! I'm part of project that is separating articles that are on both a book and its film adaptation. Those which are already separate, or which become separated, get that hidden comment so that the automated bot which searches for film & book articles will bypass it on the next round. Thanks for asking. Her Pegship 02:43, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

DVD scenes

Instead of renting the DVD you can look here. If you've scene the film th added words in the script are the scenes included on the DVD. Just a thought. Treebark (talk) 15:27, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

I've been good...

I haven't been doing quite as much in terms of contributing to the Wikiproject Harry Potter, but I did notice you had created those pages. It all looks great! I actually started my own article - Lovespring International. It's not great or anything, but check it out! It's nice to "hear" from you! Emily (Funtrivia Freak) 18:25, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject Narnia

Hello, helpers. I searched through the list of WikiProjects for one on Narnia, and found nothing. So, I proposed it on the proposed projects page. It gained enough support, so I went to create the article Wikipedia:WikiProject Narnia. As it appears, the project was created, but it has one participant, was not set up the correct way, and has received no activity since its initial creation as you can see in the small history. What should I do – contact the user who originally created the Project, or completely make over the project page, or…? Thanks! --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 19:03, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Please help add the stub template: {{Narnia-stub}}, to articles in the category Category:Stub-Class Narnia articles, to have same number of articles in Category:Narnia stubs. It is completely disorganized, and I'm too exhausted to do so, after re-assessing all the articles; it was a real nightmare! --May the Force be with you! Shreshth91($ |-| ŗ 3 $ |-| ţ |-|) 15:52, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Hey there! I've just created a WikiProject Narnia members' user-box. If you want to add it to your userpage, just edit in {{User Narnia-WP}}, which will expand to:

Narnia This user is a member of the WikiProject Narnia

Cheers! --May the Force be with you! Shreshth91($ |-| ŗ 3 $ |-| ţ |-|) 11:11, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello

Hello, I see you've gotten quite busy in this narnia stuff. I got a last response from the Leaky today and even though you said they didn't care, I thought you'd be interested to hear. Apparently, they are going to list sources at the new leaky they are going to do. (no news when it's going to be out). And, the Phoenix film is progressing. Er......where's the Wikiproject Narnia page so I can join if I want? I recently joined Esperanza. eebark t | c 16:04, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, they want to revamp Leaky and then include sources. eebark t | c 22:18, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello. No, Willy was never mentioned of being in the scene. We later found out he was at the Hog's Head sometime around the meeting wether he walked in right as they were discussing it or was at the Hog's Head the whole time they discussed it. I'm going to check my book now. Carmelapple

Narnia: Lantern Waste

RE:Lantern Waste Message From my point of view, any of the places listed at List of places in The Chronicles of Narnia could have their own article. I didn't use whether they should have their own article as the criteria for redirecting. I just looked at whether they currently have enough information to warrent an article. Personlly, I don't know what more you would say about it, but go for it.

It would be nice if we had a few model articles at the Project Narnia page. Maybe one for people and one for places. Something with premade sections so that people would know what sort of information to fill in. But that's another story... LloydSommerer 21:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Commentary on Aslan's Country

In the Aslan's Country article you created a separate commentary section, personally I think that it is kinda pointless to have a separate section meant for two sentences that could easily fit in the introductory paragraph. No bad bones. Let us continue this discussion on Talk:Aslan's Country. Bornagain4 23:07, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

What about the Simple English Wikipedia? Carmelapple 14:07, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

By 00:00 Spetember 10 (UTC). I was going to do it; but it turns out I most likely won't be able to because I get back from a trip the week before and I have other stuff I need to do; get to my job and start working after my vacation. I'll beable to copyedit it most likely. If I'm not in just alert Kpjas. You can start it at User:Fbv65edel/Interwiki report and move it to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2006-09-11/Interwiki report If you can great; if you can't O.K. Carmelapple 13:44, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Turns out I can do it but I won't be able to do the formatting. See Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2006-07-31/Interwiki report and Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2006-08-07/Interwiki report for details. I'll give you a bunch of infromation and you can format it correctly so it matches the previous links above. O.K? Carmelapple 19:49, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

August Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: To-Do List
The Esperanza To-Do List is a place where you may list any request, big or small, for assistance. If you need help with archiving your usertalk, for example, all you need to do is list it here and somebody will help you out. Likewise, if you need help with some area of editing on Wikipedia, list it here! Again, any matter, trivial or not, can be placed on this page. However, all matters listed on this page must not be of an argumentative nature. You do not need to be a member of Esperanza (or this program) to place or fulfill requests on this page. If you don't have any requests, consider coming by and fulfilling a few! This program has not been very active, but has lots of potential!
What's New?
In order to help proposed programs become specific enough to make into full-fledged programs, the In development section of the proposals page has been created. Proposals that are promising, but need to be organized in more detail are listed here. Please take a look at what is there, and help the proposals turn into programs.
To improve both the layout and text of the front page, in an attempt to clarify the image of Esperanza, the front page is going to have some redesigning take place. Please take your creative minds to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Front page redesign to brainstorm good ideas.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  1. In order to make sure all users who join Esperanza are welcomed, a list of volunteers who are willing to welcome new Esperanzians is at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Members#Esperanza_welcomers. Please add yourself if you are interested; we want to make sure all new Esperanza members are welcomed!
  2. The In development section of the proposals page has been created.
  3. Proposals page: Some proposals have been moved to the aforementioned "In development" section, some have been left as a proposal, and others have been archived. For those proposals that were a good idea but didn't necessarily constitute a program, General Esperanzial Actions has been created.
  4. Two small pieces of charter reform will be decided on in a straw poll at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza/Governance. One involves filling the position of any councillors who may leave, the other involves reforming the charter.
  5. Until cooperation with the Kindness Campaign is better defined, it remains as a proposed program.
  6. There is a page for discussing the front page redesign.
Signed...
Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

Lexicon

Hi Fbv65edel,

Thanks for your message. I had noticed your user name and contributions here on the Harry Potter articles. Great work.

Personally I find it too difficult to keep the quality high here on the Wikiproject Harry Potter, because vandals or 7-year-old kids who don't know enough about the cannon keep interfering. This is mostly why I have stopped editing recently.

How is it in the Lexicon? Does Steve let people contribute if you provide quality research? Did you manage to contribute much? Cheers. Lgriot 17:12, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. I'll see with the staff about the Lexicon participation. Lgriot 07:42, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

RFA

I've known you a while- you have a lot of edits your a really good editor and I think it's time you take a ripe at becoming an adminnistrator. It's fine with me if you object my request though I think you'd be a great one. Let me know. ForestH2 t/c 23:26, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Hello

Hello, I saw your message. Um....I saw Forest recently returned and I may do so someday and I want to keep learning other languages and doing Wikipedia in other languages so if you want to force me to come back or something you can always leave a message on my simple page. As for the Signpost- Forest is going to do it but your still going to do the formatting. I left over Ral315 doing some strange things; in praticular lying to me. So, I'll check in in another week; as an IP; and I can't wait to see how you do with your formatting for the Signpost. Forest will be giving you the info. I might return in October like Treebark. Thanks. 72.134.40.173 01:17, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

O.K, I see Carmelapple has the same IP I had before.......let me know when you'd like to be an adminnistrator. I would love to nominate you. Carmelapple e-mailed me and I'll give you the info for the Signpost as he says above and you'll do the format the page. ForestH2 t/c 01:19, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Carmelapple and me both use road runner, he lives in Calgary, Canada according to his userpage. My IP has changed it's now something different. It got off 72.134.40.173, on August 7, so I mean it was reasigned on August 10. ForestH2 t/c 01:53, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Reply

Hello, I decided I was going to log in one more time to edit because I needed to know more about the Signpost. It turns out I don't need to know more as I'll be doing no work for them even if I do return. I most likely won't return after this but I may return a little bit to update my page. Yes, I did see your message and Forest did wave. Someday I might open his book and take out a paper and return but for now; goodbye. Catch me on simple if you really need to talk to me or respond on en and I might return and reply. Carmelapple 02:46, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Harry Potter chapter citation templates

You wrote this awhile back on Talk:Hogwarts layout:

"Before the tag is removed, chapter citings need to be made (using the templates Error: {{PS}} missing name (help), [CS Ch.{{{ch}}}], etc.), and they need to found by editors who will look through the book and not the Lexicon page."

I'd like to add some of these chapter citations but I don't know how to use the templates. Where can I find the page listing them? I checked Wikipedia:WikiProject Harry Potter/Templates but don't see specifically the chapter ones. 70.50.175.44 16:52, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

My IP has changed but I got your message and thanks! It helps a lot. 67.68.136.247 03:51, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

As it's been a while since you signed up for admin coaching, I am just checking that you still wish to receive it. If so just add you name to the "Unassigned" section of the coaching box, and you'll be assigned a couple of coaches as soon as they become available. Let me know (on my talk page) if you have any questions. Cheers, Petros471 21:27, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi Petros, it was a while since I signed up for admin coaching. I was kind of hoping to get it in during the summer, but with school starting up now, I'll probably be too busy to keep it up. Thanks for the offer, though, and I hope to pick it up in a couple months! --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 01:12, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately there is a backlog, and not much can be done to reduce it unless more coaches sign up. I'll remove you from the coaching list, but the above still stands- if you decide you are ready for coaching again just add your name the the box. Cheers, Petros471 17:25, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello Fbv65edel

No, I haven't left Wikipedia. It's just I am way to busy to contribute, so I have the retired sign up there, because I don't know how much time I'm going to get. It's like I'm retired but I'm really not. eebark t | c 13:58, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
