It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. virtual-history.com - what is it?[edit]

I see you've added virtual-history.com to articles in the past. I'm trying to figure out what the site is and when, if ever, it belongs in articles. Any help would be welcome. I've yet to find any discussion about it amidst thousands of links, though it was brought up as possible spam once but didn't get any responses at the time. --Ronz (talk) 19:22, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

I do not recall when I added virtual-history to articles although I suppose I did. Can you link me to an article where I did this and then I can be more helpful.
It was a long time ago, but maybe this will help [1] --Ronz (talk) 15:16, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
Here is the main page of virtual history. It appears to be one of the many film and movie star data bases that exist on the web. In my experience, it has a lot of nice details about film people, etc. That is about all I know about it.
Thanks. I think you're right, though it looks it was created with a complete disregard to copyrights of any kind, so I assume any concern about facts is poor as well.
I'm going to slowly work toward treating it as spam, starting at ELN just to see if anyone had past experience with it or has other ideas what it might be. Thanks again. --Ronz (talk) 15:44, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
