Non-free files must always have valid fair use rationales for all articles in which they are used. The image you added to History of Nickelodeon does not have a valid fair use rationale for this article. --Stefan2 (talk) 14:52, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Ghetts has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ghetts. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Amortias (T)(C) 21:17, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been reprimanded for blanking the Ghetts page (or, more precisely, for redirecting elsewhere). The problem, as I see it, is that you don't believe Ghetts is notable because none of his songs have charted. While that is one of the criteria for notability of musicians, it is not the only one. Ghetts has clearly been the subejct of multiple independent media items, so there is at least an argument to be made for his notability. If you still don't think an article is merited, you should take the matter up at AFD. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:33, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia sections

[edit]

In general, we should try to avoid listing trivial information which may not belong in an article on Wikipedia, per WP:TRIVIA as you noted in this edit. However, that doesn't mean you should necessarily go around deleting them. Even the guideline cautions against doing so. Some of the information in this section clearly belongs and can be incorporated into the body of the article. I suggest discussing this further on the talk page, perhaps use a section header notice, and then give some time for a reply before removing it. --GoneIn60 (talk) 14:57, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Fosyia

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fosyia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Fosyia. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you.
