July 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Air Bud may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • |distributor = [[Buena Vista Pictures Distribution |Walt Disney Pictures{{small|(US)}}<br>[[Warner Bros.|Warner Bros.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:03, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Some of your edits[edit]

I reverted some of your edits because the information was either not relevant to the opening paragraph or should not have been changed. For example, while Cherie Lunghi is of Italian descent, it isn't necessary to say so in the lead, while there are specific instructions at both Miranda Hart and Helen Mirren stating that the use of the word actor should not be changed. Most of your other edits seem to be ok (although I didn't check them all), but you should try to find sources for anything you add. This is Paul (talk) 17:17, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

August 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm STATicVapor. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Horrible Bosses 2 without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! STATic message me! 15:43, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Man with the Iron Fists, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 04:40, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to MouseHunt (film) with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 06:33, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Spectral (film), without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Freshh! (talk) 01:02, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Seventh Son (film). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. STATic message me! 03:32, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anglophobe[edit]

Fsvrgtevr,

do you really think no one has noticed your anglophobic agenda on Wikipedia? Over the last few weeks I have observed you going around the website trying to erase every reference to "England" or "English" you come across. You have attempted to change numerous English people's nationality to "British"; yet, on the other hand, you have made numerous attempts to change other people's nationality to "Scottish" and "Welsh", even when there is no evidence for doing so. Your deliberate double standard is not only hypocritical, but despicable, dishonest, and completely unacceptable. Continue to push this agenda of yours if you like, but I assure you, I and several other users will revert every sly attempt you make to erase England and "Englishness" from the pages of Wikipedia. 90.199.245.41 (talk) 17:52, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fsvrgtevr, I've noticed various slow-moving edit wars between you and various IPs and one or two other editors regarding British / English etc in terms of nationality. When making changes of this type, make sure your edit can be backed up by reliable sources or do not make the edit. Also do not try to enforce uniformity across articles. You can revert someone who makes an unsourced edit of this type but use an edit summary. If you see an editor making many edits of this type, make a report at ANI - do not edit war. Disambiguation link notification for September 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aliens (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Walter Hill. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
