If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Quantium Solutions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Whispering 20:55, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You are the most unhelpful admin I have ever come across here, and I will call your actions and behaviors to the attention of your peers and betters. Enough is enough. Cheers. Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 16:47, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Doing the Admins job for him—advice to get your article in shape

[edit]

Fuzzster, please consider either moving the article to the new article creation wizard (link appears in the template text in the speedy deletion section above), or using a comparable good quality mid-size and/or Asian business article as a template (re-creating their structure vis-a-vis section headings, chosen infobox, etc., via cut-and-paste to your sandbox). Either way, to reverse an Admin's unjust initial action—since, in my experience creating and developing chemistry pages, all of what I'm calling on you to doing now could have been done on the original stub article—you must create a new stub above reproach, by picking a good, established WP business article on a company that you think comparable to this company, and edit your article to be similar in content and quality.

Two notes: no unsourced content, rather use good independent business sources (WSJ, Forbes, etc., see [WP:V]), and avoid all the frowned-upon, non-encyclopedic words and phrases (see [WP:WTW]).

In particular, I expect when I see the article again, it will (i) be longer, containing usual business detail about Company founding, history, current size, sector, leadership, etc., (ii) have inline citations with properly formatted references, e.g., using a cut and paste from the example article, or an otherwise constructed simple [1] type of entry for each cited article (click on the Edit tab of this Talk section, to see how to create such an inline citation, if you do not know already), (iii) be linked to other relevant WP articles using the other article name markup code that you will find, again, in looking at this Talk or your example good WP business article on their Edit tabs, (iv) be split into sections, and so have a Contents box appearing, and (iv) have a business-appropriate info box. See also earlier comments in Talk (now conveniently archived by our dear Admin) regarding other specific content elements that will be of interest to business readers (M&A history, etc.). Cheers, will look back in a week. Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 17:04, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Two further guiding notes: First, some of the required example information you need to create a good article can be found at the SingPost article, though it is a bit large (and as the parent Co. over this subsidiary, not a good choice) to be the WP article you use as an example template, per se. Second, you may wish to create/improve upon some simple sentences about each of the current subsidiaries of SingPost, at the SingPost article, so that there is related, brief high quality content about the subsidiaries in the parent Co. article—using same high standards of quality for those edits to SingPost article, as described above (esp. regarding citations). Later, after your article appears on the subsidiary, the SingPost article can link to it through these statements. Cheers, Le Prof. Leprof 7272 (talk) 17:26, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Leprof, thanks for the tips. I am using this Logistics company as a benchmark for content - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namakkal_Transport_Carriers. Do let me know if it will be OK to use this article's structure similarly for Quantium? I noticed the thread got archived as well, which is nonsense. But for articles like these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapid_Response_Services I do not know why they are considered alright. Maybe you can explain why?
