Might be interesting for you
These all have appropriate licences for free use. Do you see anything that might be useful? I like the Smiler heads, the WW2 Dalek and the Amy Mannequin but not entirely sure where they could be used. Eshlare (talk) 23:13, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- I do like them, though I don't know what they'd be used for. Doctor Who exhibitions uses some of them. It probably wouldn't hurt to upload them anyway, though. Glimmer721 talk
- I'll try and see what I can do with the series seven articles. Once Coleman's character has a name it might be an idea to start drafting her article too. Not sure if you are aware of this; it's quite good as a summary resource.Eshlare (talk) 21:08, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- I've just added it to my watchlist, so I'll keep an eye on basic vandalism etc. By the way, do we have confirmation that the 2012 christmas special will be produced/marketed as episode six? Also, does this hold any weight? It's her official agency page.1 The title could be provisional but I'm guessing her casting and the director are legit. Eshlare (talk) 21:45, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

- I used stuff on The Sarah Jane Adventures as a starting point. Some other contributors had sourced some great stuff too. Just need to work a bit on appearances, which may be difficult as I've only seen bits of her Doctor Who stories in addition to her The Sarah Jane Adventures episodes. I'd be happy to help a bit on Sarah Jane :) Eshlare (talk) 14:36, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, enjoy your break/holiday :) Eshlare (talk) 14:47, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Doctor Who (series 7)
On 11 July 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Doctor Who (series 7), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that according to writer Toby Whithouse, the seventh series of Doctor Who will mainly consist of stand-alone episodes, each with a distinct genre? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Doctor Who (series 7). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Copyedits
If you have time, could you take a peek over articles reviewed by TBrandley. His "reviewingness" has been put into question and I'm worried that some of the articles he passed might be put up for reassessment. A list of his articles that he's passed is here. Thanks, and absolutely no rush or pressure. :) --Gen. Quon (Talk) 04:30, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Here's the complete list of my articles that were reviewed by him (I plan on looking over the ones he did for Grapple): "Get the Girl", "Demons (The X-Files)", "Aubrey (The X-Files)", "E-mail Surveillance", "Halloween (The Office)", "Adam (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)", "F. Emasculata", "Fearful Symmetry (The X-Files)", "Wetwired", "Avatar (The X-Files)"," Never Again (The X-Files)", "Chinga (The X-Files)", "Jump the Shark", "4-D (The X-Files)", "John Doe (The X-Files)", "Provenance (The X-Files)", "Providence (The X-Files)", and "Trust No 1".
- I'll look through the ones I've seen, so I'll claim the season 2 and 3 ones. Glimmer721 talk 18:03, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
Jenna-Louise Coleman
Hi, re this edit (last paragraph) - I've seen Jenna-Louise Coleman in Emmerdale, Waterloo Road (TV series) and Titanic (2012 TV miniseries) and was generally impressed by her acting, particularly the emotion she puts into high-drama scenes. I have high hopes for her in the 2012 Christmas episode of DW. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:28, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- I haven't seen her in anything, but I am looking forward to it. Definitely liked what they said about her being cast partially because she can talk faster than Smith--looks like there will be an interesting dynamic there. By the way, I watched The Ark in Space yesterday and really enjoyed it. Glimmer721 talk 16:34, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I liked it first time round - and also on DVD. That first Tom Baker season flows from one story into the next - it even flows directly on from the last Jon Pertwee season, and continues into Terror of the Zygons (not yet out on DVD) in season 13, so it's a good idea to watch them in order. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:45, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- I wish I could but Netflix only has select serials. I'm going to watch Pyramids of Mars next. Glimmer721 talk 16:48, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

EW issue on Doctor Who
Not sure if you've seen this yet, but check this out. Thank god I get EW in the mail! BTW, I'm almost caught up (just watched "The Sontaran Stratagem"). :) Ruby 2010/2013 18:18, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'll be sure to add them if anything seems beneficial. I'll have to rent The End of Time and Planet of the Dead; I wish they'd post them on Netflix's instant watch... :/ I might give some older episodes a chance, but I have so many other series to catch up on, like The Walking Dead and Downton Abbey, to name a few. Ruby 2010/2013 19:13, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- I see. Yeah, I haven't seen "A Christmas Carol" yet. Is that episode available on Netflix at all? I can't seem to find it. Is there a good Internet source for it? Ruby 2010/2013 19:29, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link. Out of curiosity, why did you add |via=Highbeam to "The Stolen Eagle"? Is that something we're advised to do? I didn't notice any difference in the parameters displayed. I just recently received access to the database and am not sure if there are certain rules we should be following. Ruby 2010/2013 19:41, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

BTW, I may begin editing Who episode articles soon, starting with "The Doctor's Daughter", which I recently enjoyed watching (it might take me a little while to start editing it though, as I have other current priorities). Just wanted to give you the heads-up, in case there was something you wanted to eventually collaborate on! Ruby 2010/2013 21:38, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed, "Blink" was also a great episode. When I get time I'll give that article a look and see if I can find any more content to add to it. Oh, and here's the online Matt Smith EW interview. He's pretty adorable. :D Ruby 2010/2013 22:00, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
- No, I had not seen that link yet. Very interesting! I've been taking a little break from editing Fringe articles, but doubtless that article will come in handy once I jump back in. BTW: update, I just watched "Turn Left". Very different episode, but it's a well-written article that probably has a reasonable shot at FAC, with a little love. DYK
Turns out A Town Called Mercy still needs to be expanded a little more, I missed the part about text from other articles not counting. I did a quick search and turned up this and this which should help get you over that limit. GRAPPLE X 00:49, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, hopefully I've got it now. Glimmer721 talk 18:49, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
