License tagging for Image:A-word-from-our-sponsor-20041005043152317.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:A-word-from-our-sponsor-20041005043152317.gif. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:04, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Proposed deletions

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the articles Matt Casamassina,Talmadge Blevins,Fran Mirabella III,Jeremy Dunham and Peer Schneider, suggesting that they be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe they satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the articles if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Matt Casamassina,Talk:Talmadge Blevins,Talk:Fran Mirabella III,Talk:Jeremy Dunham or Talk:Peer Schneider. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the articles will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Gnuknees! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 725 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Peer Schneider - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Talmadge Blevins - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

AfD nomination of Talmadge Blevins

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Talmadge Blevins. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Talmadge Blevins (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
