License tagging for File:US Airways 1.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:US Airways 1.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:06, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Delta Air Lines-Northwest Airlines merger has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. United Airlines[edit]

Hey, I just reverted your edits on United Airlines about planes to be replaced. It seems like original research, and it's not a great statement without a timeline. Feel free to re-add after you address these concerns. --Matt (talk) 20:26, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Matt, Thanks for the concern. I don't feel the need to re-add it now after hearing your concerns knowing that it is probably best to keep it the way it was with the note at the bottom. Thanks again for pointing that out to me. --Golfj21 (talk) 22:07, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delta / Northwest[edit]

Please stop changing airport articles and adding convoluted listings such as "Delta Connection as Northwest Airlink operated by Comair". As has been explained many times, Delta and Northwest are still separate airlines, and the route is listed under the operating airline. Thanks. Jasepl (talk) 18:58, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a discussion of this at the DL talk page on this matter. Please discuss there. 74.183.173.237 (talk) 02:11, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NW is ending mainline service to PIT[edit]

Hi Golfj21. I just went to NWA.com and no mainline flights found to/from PIT after August 18. Only flights found are NW Airlink/DL Connection carriers Pinnacle Airlines and Compass Airlines. Charmedaddict (talk) 03:34, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Charmedaddict, I just realized my mistake, 7/1 is July not September! I also found that odd that there was nothing on nwa.com but in the schedule. lol. Thanks a lot for the help. It won't happen again.--Golfj21 (talk) 13:17, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An exciting opportunity to get involved![edit]

As a member of the Aviation WikiProject or one of its subprojects, you may be interested in testing your skills in the Aviation Contest! I created this contest, not to pit editor against editor, but to promote article improvement and project participation and camraderie. Hopefully you will agree with its usefulness. Sign up here, read up on the rules here, and discuss the contest here. The first round of the contest may not start until September 1st-unless a large number of editors signup and are ready to compete immediately! Since this contest is just beginning, please give feedback here, or let me know what you think on my talkpage. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 00:31, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can you?[edit]

In the page Interstate 376 you appear to have made a Revision as of 00:47, 1 September 2009. You added text and a reference tag. That reference tag, <ref name=Delorme/> appears to be causing a cite error. Could you please go back and fill out the full source to fix the cite error. Thanks. 75.69.0.58 (talk) 01:51, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

US at LGA[edit]

Why did you undo all my corrections? You're free to look them up in the US Airways timetable. --24.131.140.72 (talk) 23:46, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pittsburgh event for Wikipedia's tenth anniversary[edit]

Hi! Since you're listed as a Wikipedian in Pittsburgh, I wanted to invite you to the Wikipedia Tenth Anniversary celebrations we're having in Pittsburgh on Saturday, January 15. During the daytime, we're going to be having a photo contribution drive where anyone can bring in their digital photos or prints and Wikipedians will teach people how to upload them and add them to articles, and maybe introduction to Wikipedia workshops as well. Then in the evening, we'll have fun at the Carson City Saloon. There will be free Wikipedia t-shirts and other goodies, as well. See the Pittsburgh meetup page for more details. I hope to see you there!--ragesoss (talk) 15:11, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
