[edit] Hello, I'm NinjaRobotPirate. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Insidious (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Hi. At WikiProject Film, there's a consensus that production companies require a citation from reliable sources. I know it may seem a bit bureaucratic, but this is to reduce the amount of original research involved in identifying them. People frequently use posters, trailers, and other primary sources, but these have been deemed insufficient. This is why I've been going through articles and citing the American Film Institute, among other sources. Sometimes AFI does not list companies that editors feel should be included, but we go by the sources, not by what we personally believe to be correct. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:40, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- I agree. This is very good advice. Dr. K. 05:35, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Looper (film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 19:10, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
