Proposed deletion of Timonia

[edit]

The article Timonia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced micronation (poss nanonation), quite likely a thing made up one day recently. Come back when duly recognized at least by other micronations and verifiably sourced.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Timonia has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://micronations.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page (matching the regex rule \bwikia\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:36, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Timonia, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timonia. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. A More Perfect Onion (talk) 19:49, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Timonia, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Timonia

[edit]

You can't use Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timonia as a reference to create an article. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 17:44, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you keep recreating it you will end up being blocked. A deletion discussion on Wikipedia is not a valid source to recreate an article. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 17:48, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Timonia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Timonia, you will be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:53, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. The US Constitution

[edit]

As Wikipedia:Free speech points out the US Constitution does not cover your rights here. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 17:59, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You were originally blocked for 24 hours after being warned that recreating the article would lead to that. As pointed out above the First Amendment of the United States Constitution does not cover private websites and only refer to your government. Now I have changed the length of the block to indefinite due to the fact that you have decided to sue Wikipedia. This violates Wikipedia:No legal threats. Should you withdraw your threat then you can be unblocked. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 18:15, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK as you removed the threat I reduced the block to 24 hours. I suggest that you rethink your combativeness and try and work collaboratively with others. I have left a comment at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Abusive admin guilty of war crimes including genocide so that other may check that I am acting correctly. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 18:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
After your last two comments it seems obvious that you really are not here to help build an encyclopaedia so I have reinstated the indefinite block. Please see the above section on how to appeal this. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 18:58, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to User talk:Gomezbuster, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If you do not agree then what does this quote mean?

"And I no longer recognise that editor. They've exhausted my quota of good faith for today. I've reinstated the indefinite block. Now please point me to other small nations that I can crush. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 18:59, 20 October 2009 (UTC)"

I'm pretty sure that is an admittance that would fall under the definition of terrorism, racism, genocide, and impedes basic human rights. Luckily for Wikipedia, I am just bored because if I were an ambulance chaser, then that would be a very bad quote for Wikipedia to have to defend in court.

Here is my applause CambridgeBayWeather that you have been waiting on! You have officially admitted beeing racist, genocidal, and a terrorist that does not support basic human rights. I have printed all these posts and am in the process of providing them to the appropriate authorities. Thank you for the written and signed statements! Gomezbuster (talk) 19:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1 more thing: Look at the timestamps of the warning and the last deleted article of Timonia. Once the warning was posted, there were no more creations of Timonia articles, which is what I was supposedly banned for right? If that is true, show me an article I created after that timestamp. Oops, you can't find one.

So, I was banned by a racist genocidal terrorist maniac that has no regard for basic human rights without warning! Way to go Wiki! Gomezbuster (talk) 19:40, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, my last statement is supported by this quote

""And I no longer recognise that editor. They've exhausted my quota of good faith for today. I've reinstated the indefinite block. Now please point me to other small nations that I can crush. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 18:59, 20 October 2009 (UTC)""

Wow, now it has changed to me being a vandal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Vandalism-only_account

CambridgeBayWeather has classified me as a vandal I posted an article about my sovereign nation and it was deleted. I re-posted with a source. It was deleted. I was warned to stop so I did after the timestamp. CambridgeBayWeather is quoted as saying

Yet, I am a vandal with permanent ban. I contest this and will agree to 24 hour suspension and drop this entire subject if I can be reinstated after 24 hours. Timonia will not be brought up on Wikipedia again. I will only make contributing edits that improve this site. Gomezbuster (talk) 20:01, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have just restated your legal threat. I see nothing constructive coming from this account. Talk page access revoked. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:27, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(was also going to decline your unblock request, but the above administrator beat me to it) And I'm afraid my quota of good faith has also been exhausted after reading everything on this talk page above. In addition, you seemed to have reiterated your legal threat in the unblock request. Hence, I or any other admin will likely not consider a block reduction or unblock unless you at the very least unambiguously retract the legal threat. With all the stuff I saw above, you're going to need to do a good job in convincing another admin to lift the other reasons for your block which include disruptive editing, blatant incivility, and personally attacking others. If you ever wish to become unblocked, you will need to read, understand, and apply those policies, as that is how we operate. Thank you, MuZemike 20:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|I was indefinitely blocked on October 20th, 2009. I realize that what I did was wrong. I did not realize it at the time and abided by the warnings issued and did not re-post my article Timonia after the warning was issued. I also let my anger get the best of me and want to issue an appology to CambridgeBayWeather. I also would like to retract anything that eluded to legal action from my post. I realize that my actions were wrong and that I acted out of anger. I regret the actions that I have taken and recognize the greatness of what Wikipedia offers the internet community. If you want to know something, it is almost always on here. I respect why my article can not be listed and agree now that it should not be. I would like the chance to prove my trustworthiness and be a positive contributor to Wikipedia. I would understand if I am on a strict watch and would agree that anything I do wrong from this point forward should result in a permanent ban. I do not want that and just wish to have my indefinite ban lifted. I will help to add grammatical correctness to articles and add positive information that will help all Wikipedia users. If you disagree, I understand why. I am just asking to please consider since it has now been 3 weeks since my suspension and the waters have cooled. Thank you for your time. Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

You have retracted your legal threats and have agree to act civilly and in a way that helps the encyclopedia and the community as a whole. Any additional disruption as above, and you will be immediately re-blocked.

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

You should also read our policy on article ownership, in that nobody owns articles here on Wikipedia. Once you hit the "Save page" button, it becomes the community's article and can be edited on in any way seem fit. Thank you, MuZemike 18:38, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
