Love Island days[edit]
Hey, remember to take the skipped day into account in Love Island. Due to no Saturday episode, a day is always skipped for it to catch up with current real time, although it's manipulated on the programme for it to look like it's continued. Read this article to see why/how. https://heatworld.com/entertainment/tv-movies/love-island-no-saturdays/ An example is also that Shannon was dumped during part 1 of last Wednesday (showing Day 2 into 3) so exactly a week later is tomorrow's part 1, showing Day 9 going into Day 10, not 8. Past series for example Love Island (2015 TV series, series 6) Saturday falls on Day 7/14/21/28/35 etc and are therefore never mentioned, which is the same with every other series. Hi there Danny I understand what you're saying, but the episode on Sunday picked up right after the episode on Friday, meaning it was Day 5 at the start, then transitioning into Day 6 and on Monday's episode it was the end of Day 6 with Chugg's dumping, before transitioning into Day 7 with the breakfast dates. This means that Lucinda and Millie did in fact come in on Day 8. The information that was put down was misinformation, I'm sorry dude, but it's clear that you don't know how to follow the days.
- I'm not disputing the fact that that's what it looks like, but it just shows the manipulation of editing has worked. The way you're looking at it, an 8 week series would only be 48 days long when in fact 8 weeks is 56 days. Although it goes unnoticed, Saturdays are "days off" and therefore a day is skipped, again like it has been the case for every other series. Plus it's real time, with public votes (which usually closes at 10.15) which proves the highlights are exactly a day behind as the twist usually happens that night - and airs the next day, but the way you're looking at it would still mean they're 2 days behind (and by the time we get to Week 5 we'd be 5 days behind). In past series the Love Island app and website would actually state which days, but sadly haven't this series. ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:48, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
