If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aroya Cruises requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2A00:23EE:1510:6CAE:C419:ECFF:FE86:E02E (talk) 14:22, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023

Information icon Hi Haretysh23! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Ship articles and naming

[edit]

Please read WP:NC-SHIPS before anymore page moves concerning ships please. Thank you. Llammakey (talk) 13:55, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately you are continuing to add uncited material to cruise-ship articles and moving the articles to new names, even before there is any reliable confirmation that the changes have even happened. The recent multiple changes to AIDAaura caused much confusion, and now you have moved Costa Atlantica, again without reason. Ship articles do not get moved automatically to a reported new name; they have to meet Wikipedia naming policy. To help apply that in a practical way to ship articles, agreed guidance is, as Llammakey already advised, set out in Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ships): "An article about a ship that changed name or nationality should be placed at the best-known name, with a redirect from the other name." Clearly, after 23 years of service, Costa Atlantica is best-known by that name. Changes can always be considered when a new identity becomes more widely written about in reliable sources - and can be discussed on the article talk page if in doubt. If you have further queries, please answer here and I will try to help. Davidships (talk) 16:41, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Isaidnoway (talk) 🍁 00:34, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rotterdam-class (R-class) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Rotterdam-class (R-class). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. microbiologyMarcus (petri dish·growths) 22:01, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Haretysh23. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Rotterdam-class".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 21:59, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
