User talk:Hariboneagle927/2016/November
The Alyssa Valdez article is the last of the Filipino volleyball articles that need to adhere to English Wikipedia layout. Some sections must be changed or converted. The international stint section must go away, just mention it in the prose section. The Individual awards must be converted and the references must be taken to the prose section. The clubs section must be changed. National team, elementary school and club volleyball mixed together must be fixed to the clubs only. As a main contributor to the article, we hope your back up. --Osplace 15:32, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Hikaru Minegishi
[edit]You really need to get a grip! Sure, the source you provided says one thing but reality says otherwise! That's one of the problems in Philippine football - the lack of stats! But you wouldn't know that cuz you're not really a football person, just riding along and making it seem you're knowledgeable.
Minegishi has 18 apps and 17 goals for the 2016 league!! Just for you is the following!
- 1 goal, 4-2 stallion [1]
- 1 goal, 8-0 Laos [2]
- 1 goal, 4-0 jp voltes [3]
- 1 goal, 3-0 kaya [4]
- 1 goal, 8-0 agila [5]
- 2 goals, 12-0 nomads [6]
- 1 goal, 3-3 ceres [7]
- 3 goals, 12-0 forza [8]
- 2 goals, 3-2 kaya [9]
- 1 goal, 3-1 archers [10]
- 3 goals, 7-0 laos [11]
It's in line with the available data on transfermarkt. The only missing data is for the final game of the season where global lost 5-0 to ceres which Minegishi took part in [12]. but Hikaru Minegishi's header was saved by Louie Casas. To make it clear... it's 18 apps with 17 goals! Not 17 in 17! Not 17 in 17 and then "adding a goal at the of the season for a total of 18 league goals". That's wrong!! Get a grip!!!! 180.191.142.48 (talk) 08:22, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Well for an I.P., you really on a high horse reminds me of an arrogant prick I used to deal with that uses exclamation marks. We have WP:ASSUMEGOODFAITH but don't expect I can do the same if you use that tone! Also Transfermarkt is not considered remarkable. Thanks for the sources. Now add them ASAP and quit whining! Just integrate them! I'm just following what's given on the source I was able to find. You don't have to be such as asshole.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 08:30, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- The problem with Philippine football is the lack of appreciation for stats. Its given. It creates a systemic bias. I follow what's given on the source I retrieved. By October 5, 2016, Quoly says that Minegishi has scored 17 goals in 17 appearances. Then a later Inquirer article source says its 18 total. ("Playing second fiddle to skipper Misagh Bahadoran in the UFL Cup, the Japan-raised Minegishi, whose mother hails from Olongapo, stood at the forefront of Global’s long and gruelling campaign, serving as linchpin of the attack by firing 18 goals."Hariboneagle927 (talk) 08:43, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- So what if I'm an "IP"? Wow. Who is the asshole who is on a high horse now? I use exclamation marks! Some random arrogant prick you dealt with used exclamation marks! As if using exclamation marks is rare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More exclamation marks for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahehehehehehehe =:p That's the problem with what you said, you only follow what's given. That's very robotic which is in line with someone who isn't really a football person. It's not just about a lack of appreciation for stats. It's a lack of recording keeping coupled with a bunch of boneheaded writers and perhaps readers as well. Even that qoly source you provided doesn't make sense. "By October 2016 he had 17 in 17." When in October is it referring to? He scored a hat-trick in their second to last match of the season. It looks like it's based on transfermarkt which has 17 in 17 for Minegishi but as I already said, it doesn't have data for the global 5-0 ceres match. Transfermark is not considered reliable because it's not complete which is the case for stats of Philippine football. But it does contain legit data! 180.191.142.48 (talk) 08:53, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Who is not being civil here? You're the one that used the word asshole first. 180.191.142.48 (talk) 08:59, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) C'mon now... you both need to be civil towards one another. It doesn't matter if you're using an account or if you're simply editing under an IP address. 180.191.142.48, lets quit with the exclamation marks and being combative, okay? And Hariboneagle927, I know you're trying to remain civil, but responding to someone like you did here is only going to make an angry person even more angry. It also sends the signal that making personal attacks and engaging in incivility is welcome (which it clearly is not). Can't we all just get along? :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 09:07, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry that's Oshwah who revert you. Also incivility includes tone in writing your message.
- Anyway that's the way it is. We follow what's stated on the reliable source. I'm more inclined to believe what actual sports journalists like Cedelf Tupas wrote over any other user, I.P. or registered user. Who knows you could have overlooked something. Reports stating that he won the Golden Boot all says that he scored 18 goals. [13] I did not say that his final stats were 17 goals in 17 appearance. I said it's by October 5, 2016 (Hint: the final game of the season isn't played yet). Apparently you missed this while you are whining how I'm a poser football fan or someone pretending I'm knowledgeable. We follow what's given on the sources. Anyway back to the topic at hand. "Minegishi reportedly scored 18 goals by the end of the season" might be a better statement, since it's actually reported that he scored 18 goals, the "reality" is another issue.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:02, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Corrected, sorry if I did not made it clear, it's just October 2016. Now it's October 5, 2016. A courtesy, would go a long way you know?
- Case and point about writers and even readers being boneheaded. They write that he scored 18 but I've proven to you that he scored only 17! you can even view all highlights of practically all league matches for 2016 on the ufl's youtube channel. If you want to continue being on your high horse, that's all on you. I'll let you be. I'm not gonna waste time and energy trying to change your mind. Goooooooooood bye. 180.191.142.48 (talk) 09:10, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- So that's the problem, you insist on your bias against Filipino sportswriters. Unfortunately, we rely on what's published, not necessarily the truth. WP:NOTTRUTH (I know it's an essay). Maybe you could write to sportswriters to point out their alleged mistakes. But I honestly believe you can't anyway given your biases against them.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:17, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Also insisting on the 18 appearance and 17 goals stat based on multiple sources is WP:SYNTHESIS (since nothing about this was said on the final global-ceres game). I concede, "added another goal" violates this. But stating that he finished the season reportedly with 18 goals (no appearances since the latest source did not state it) isn't false since it was really reported.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:22, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- You're just going around in circles now just to prove you're right.

- This has nothing to do with bias! This is you being on your high horse. This is about wrong details/data. If you want to insist that I have an agenda, haha, you go ahead with that. Sports writers or any journalist or what have you aren't perfect themselves. That's the point here. You now even edited the page to write that he has 17 in 17 by October 5 which correct. But to say he then finished the season with 18 goals is incorrect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More exclamation mark again!!!!!!!!!! By October 5, global fc only had one fixture remaining, against ceres. They lost that game 5-0. So how the hell can a player on team that didn't score a goal all of a sudden score a goal?? The only possibility is if he scored an own goal. But that doesn't go on your tally of goals scored!! So who is on a high horse here? Who is the one with bias or an agenda? Certainly not me! I'll say it again, get a grip! That's it! Done. Finito. Terminado. Tapos. 180.191.142.48 (talk) 09:31, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- I never stated that I'm right that there were 18 goals. I stated that it's 18 goals that was reported, that's a fact whether you dispute on whether the 18th goal happened at all or not. Sportswriters are not perfect alright. But Wikipedia doesn't really isn't that way. I can't just interview Palami, then he says that Minegishi actually scored 17 goals in the 2016 season despite theoretically saying to sportswriters earlier which wrote the relevant articles that he scored 18 goals. I just can't write any revelations from said interview without it getting published. But unfortunately that's what they wrote. Let's just omit the fact (the report, not whether the 18th goal happened) if we are just going to argue about this.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:40, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Philippine railway-related articles
[edit]As what I saw, many of Philippine railway-related articles are outdated, plus, pictures are mostly not of the recent situation. Information about railway construction proposals in the Philippines are still not elaborated, just one sentence with no detail, like here. Images are still of the past situation, like images of Philippine National Railways trains, like the locomotive-hauled ex-JNR/JR East 203 series electric multiple units and self-propelled Hyundai Rotem diesel multiple units, now painted blue, but with the orange stripe still used. You can update the information and change images (from Wikimedia Commons) to show recent developments, other than historical ones.-TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 11:10, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
Undo vandalism
[edit]Vandalism of Jejomar Binay Jr. is you're reverted! Thank you! That user 112.207.32.94 is bias. Jejomar Binay is not janitor and gay, he's not born "July 2017", and the Ip address swear Jejomar Binay Jr. Unfortunately, you revert it. Thank you! ɔyʀɥs ɴotoʒɑt bulɑɡɑ 10:28, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
Confusing
[edit]If it is Feihl in the photo, then it is Feihl who is shown as Nelson Asaytono at List of Philippine Basketball Association career scoring leaders? Well if that is the case, I could personally say that that was lame (a little bit) and also funny. Babymissfortune 15:39, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- Also, that was the reason I removed the photo at Feihl's article because I though that was a wrong person. Apologies for that. Babymissfortune 15:41, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- Wait, I just googled Asaytono's pictures, and surprisingly, Feihl's picture here in Wiki is actually Asaytono! Maybe you made a mistake on which person is which. Babymissfortune 15:45, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, I realized just today too. I thought it was him due to his relative height with his teammates at the time, it did not help that someone was calling him Feihl. Nevertheless, i will correct the image's file name.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 15:50, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- The one who inserted the photo is aware of Nelson Asaytono than I am in the scoring leaders page. Kinda ironic for someone who was really there (the exhibition game).Hariboneagle927 (talk) 15:52, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
