Just a small comment about the Manual of Style

Hello Harrumphings! I see you've fixed a lot of pages here, so thank you for your help! However, some of the changes you've made are not in line with the current Manual of Style. In order to keep all the articles looking the same, Wikipedia is pretty specific about grammar and punctuation. There's so much detail on the Manual of Style page, so I understand it can be confusing. In particular, here are a few things I've seen from your contributions:

  • MOS:ENGVAR goes over this in more detail, but articles may be written in any national variety of English. One difference that comes up a lot is the serial or Oxford comma, which is used in American English but not in British English. It's used before "and", "or", or "nor" when three or more items are listed. Basically, if an article uses it consistently, use it. If it doesn't, then retain the existing style by not adding it.
  • Simple glosses go in single quotes. If it's an exact translation of a foreign word, then it should be surrounded by ' and ', not " and ". For example, perro ('dog').
  • En-dashes (–) are "spaced", with a space between them and the surrounding words. The opposite is true for em-dashes (—), which are longer and are not spaced.
  • Either "U.S." or "US" may be used, as long as it's consistent. Like the variety of English used, either is fine, and there's no need to change one to the other.

Sorry to correct what you're doing, but I know it's easy to miss these things in the long lists of rules for how to edit. This simplified Manual of Style may also be clearer. Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Please stop removing double spaces

There is no need to alter double spacing as you seem to be doing all over the place. See MOS:PUNCTSPACE: "Software condenses two or more spaces to just one when rendering a page, so editors may use any spacing style they prefer." See also MOS:STYLERET. Please stop doing that.
