File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Naked bros.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:37, 21 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 16:37, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hayden Burke (Singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 黒い白い (KuroiShiroi) 03:31, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Hayden Burke (Singer). Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Hairhorn (talk) 04:06, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on HaydowP requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. removing tags[edit]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hairhorn (talk) 04:36, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:NBB MFM.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:NBB MFM.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:17, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Fully Clothed Tour[edit]

The article Fully Clothed Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is nothing notable about this tour. It is just a list of dates and venues.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to The End of Time (Doctor Who), you will be blocked from editing. magnius (talk) 00:39, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Nat & Alex Wolff (album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nat & Alex Wolff (album). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

January 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Doctor Who (2010 series), please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please respond to this message[edit]

I understand you're new to Wikipedia, but it makes it very difficult when you don't look at your discussion page. Some of your edits to the Nat & Alex Wolff have both been good and unnecessary. Please respond so we can both discuss changes and ideas you have for the article, and I will guide you through it. I've seen on your talk page that you have created vandalism to other articles, and I might have to contact an administrator to block you if you don't stop and look at your talk page, so you can learn from your mistakes and learn to check your talk page, as it is difficult to communicate if you don't. I didn't mean to cause any disruption, but rather advice. The best, ATC . Talk 12:49, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Nat & Alex Wolff: Live and others[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated articles are Nat & Alex Wolff: Live, First Nat & Alex Wolff Studio Album. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to the relevant discussion pages: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nat & Alex Wolff: Live for Nat & Alex Wolff: Live, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/First Nat & Alex Wolff Studio Album for First Nat & Alex Wolff Studio Album. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mar 2010[edit]

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Doctor Who (2010 series). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. While there is discussion over what the current season is to be called there is absolutely no reliable source within the DW production team or the BBC that calls it season 31. File copyright problem with File:Natnalex.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Natnalex.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 13:04, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Natnalex.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Natnalex.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 13:05, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
