- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

Hello, Hipophi. While I appreciate your enthusiasm to try to improve content on this website, making infobox inclusions that are uncited like you did in Tulasi in Hinduism is bound to be reverted if left uncited. I must also ask you to not repeatedly change the infobox image of the article Sita because it is in fact a good representation of the goddess, one that has consensus among editors, and is a more objective representation than a murti of a particular region. Dear Chronikhiles As we know infobox picture is the which describes the particular article in a brief way. That painting of sita depicts her as sad , weak damsel , and just as a character . But as we know sita is more than just character of ramayan , she is worshipped all over India with Ram , as murti pic depicts the way in which sita is worshipped by us. @Hipophi The fact of the matter is that the painting you reverted is an accurate representation of Sita in exile. The picture you've uploaded of the goddess is blurry and offers much less information about her than the painting.
