Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:59, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock[edit]

I don't really understand the reason for the block, given that there were no more edits after my warnings. Dicklyon (talk) 04:36, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's also unclear why an IP user made an unblock request, so I suppose it might be the same as the blocked user. Oh, I see that IP was also making messes elsewhere, so maybe that's what the admin was reacting to? Dicklyon (talk) 04:41, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No, couldn't have been reacting to that, since we didn't know the IP address until the unblock request. This is just odd. Dicklyon (talk) 04:42, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Dicklyon: I really should've checked the page history. You're right. This is a weird case but I suspect the IP was just up to no good. Sasquatch t|c 06:51, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Sasquatch: Yes, of course he was up to no good. But we usually warn, and then only block if problems continue, to give them a chance to change. An indef is never appropriate for such a new vandal, is it? Dicklyon (talk) 13:23, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@NinjaRobotPirate: the question was really for you. Why block a user who hasn't edited since getting warnings? I suppose I contributed by issuing an escalating set of warnings in quick succession. Dicklyon (talk) 04:41, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Vandalism-only accounts are often indefinitely blocked, and there is no policy that mandates that we give vandals exactly five chances. Now, please go find something better to do. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 05:08, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
