- Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. - Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Request reason:
Hi Alexf, I think this happened because I added links to our pages on social media? Didn't realise this wasn't allowed on Wikipedia - sorry! Everything else I added were updates about the ISTD - new CEO, Artistic Director, info about our dance genres etc. All of which is useful for anyone needing information about the organisation, but (as far as I can tell anyway) wouls not constitute advertising or promotion. Could you let me know what other changes I made might have been in violation of your rules please? Thank you.

Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
