Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Yashwant Sinha. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Ad Orientem (talk) 17:27, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon It may not have been your intention, but one of your edits, specifically one that you made on Yashwant Sinha, may have introduced material that some consider controversial. Due to this, your edits may have been reverted. When adding material that may be controversial, it is good practice to first discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them, to gain consensus over whether or not to include the text, phrasing, etc. If you believe that the information you added was correct, please initiate that discussion. Thank you. DreamLinker (talk) 01:43, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Yashwant Sinha. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please discuss this issue at Talk:Yashwant_Sinha#Content_about_September_2017_article. I have started a discussion already. Once there is consensus, you can add the content in the article. DreamLinker (talk) 15:56, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Yashwant Sinha. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. DreamLinker (talk) 01:42, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Yashwant Sinha.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. DreamLinker (talk) 19:23, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Yashwant Sinha. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DreamLinker (talk) 00:53, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss on the talk page instead of repeatedly reverting

[edit]

Your information is not neutrally written and some of the sources are also social media posts/tweets. I have already informed you that I have opened a discussion at Talk:Yashwant_Sinha#Content_about_September_2017_article regarding this edit. When editors disagree, we discuss and try to come to a conclusion. You are welcome to come to the talk page and discuss. In the meantime, please do not add the information to the article.--DreamLinker (talk) 00:59, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Persistently reverting other editors and refusing to discuss content disputes is going to get you blocked again. I strongly advise you to discuss these issues on the relevant talk pages and seek consensus. Ad Orientem (talk) 02:01, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hey Ad Orientem, why are you blocking me and reverted the changes? I am not the one changing content, I added proper information with references given.some other users are trying to revert it by multiple accounts. I also discussed the same on talk page but no answering. You can review the added material too. Please.Thank you. I am joker (talk) 17:19, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition has been repeatedly reverted by multiple editors. You were warned not to re-add it w/o talk page consensus and yet you continue to do so. You have already been blocked for this edit warring but that seems to have had no effect. If this continues after you come off block your next block will be a long term one. -Ad Orientem (talk) 17:25, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
