Hello, Ilya Surhayoğlu. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created  User:Ilya Surhayoğlu has been deleted as meeting one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources which are unconnected with the subject and which provide verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see WP:CORP for subjects that are groups or companies or organizations. Please see WP:ANYBIO for subjects who are people. Please see Wikipedia:Common sourcing mistakes (notability). Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure is a useful tutorial.

Also, encyclopedia articles must be neutral in tone and not use language that promotes or advocates for a subject, or tries to cast the subject in a favorable light. Please see Information on content and common pitfalls to avoid here and here. Sometimes creators of promotional/advocational content are bewildered that it is considered such. If one has been trained to write such content, or if one has spent some time writing such content, one may simply be blind to non-neutral phrases or styles.

A common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. Anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Persistent posters of promotional content may be blocked from editing. Posters of promotional content with promotional usernames may be blocked on sight.

CV's/resumé's are by their nature promotional. Writing about oneself or any connected subject is discouraged as the connection can make objectivity difficult. Information on avoiding advocational content and common pitfalls is here and here, however be aware that these are not exhaustive.

New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you."Before you start writing, gather a list of indisputably reliable sources that are entirely independent of the [subject], and that devote significant coverage to the [subject]. Once you have that list of high quality sources, format them into references. Referencing for beginners explains how. Now, neutrally summarize what the sources say, avoiding any promotional language. You can find much more detailed advice at Your first article.: --per Cullen328 The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can seek help IRC chat, as well as Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk Sometimes it is better to first gain experience by fixing and helping maintain existing articles. Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask contains links to things that badly need doing, if you are so inclined.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for admitted WP:BLOCKEVASION and for self promotion, as you did at User:Ilya Surhayoğlu.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:20, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Blocking someone for the lack of knowledge on Wikipedia policies isn't fair especially when it comes to create a user page, Your reply on my appeal with "You have created accounts before" is wrong, I haven't created this account to promote myself it's a biography article about Ilya Surkhayoglu which isn't the real owner of this account, after I (Mohtesem_Narimanov) created an article about Ilya Surkhayoglu, i saw the message that said it will take 3 months to be confirmed, I tried to speed up the process by creating and making a user page with the information to make it visible in a small amount of time, I insist "I'm not Ilya Surkhayoglu and this User page wasn't a tool of self promotion" it was only i thought User Page was just like any other article. so please reconsider unblocking my IP Ilya Surhayoğlu (talk) 21:51, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Forget about your IP address. You have an account, so focus on your account. You should only be using a single account. The autoblock on the IP will be removed when this block is removed. You've made this worse by admitting that your username is not your own name- perhaps you confused creating an article with creating an account. You also admitted to gaming the system artificially to obtain advanced permissions; the system exists for a reason. Your willingness to ignore policies when you find them inconvenient means it would be a bad idea to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 06:59, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You've contradicted what you wrote at User:Ilya Surhayoğlu, and you admit using multiple accounts, (Mohtesem nerimanov (talk · contribs)). What other accounts have you used? I've seen those images before. Thanks.-- Deepfriedokra (talk) 22:29, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am writing to appeal my block for alleged sockpuppetry, and I would like to clarify my actions and intentions. I understand that my previous appeal may have caused confusion, and I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. I acknowledge that I have been blocked for creating multiple accounts and using them in a manner that appeared to violate Wikipedia's policies on sockpuppetry. Specifically, I created the account "Ilya Surhayoğlu" and used it to write content under that name. In hindsight, I realize this was a mistake and could be interpreted as deceptive, but it was not my intention to deceive or disrupt the Wikipedia community. I now fully understand Wikipedia’s policies regarding the use of multiple accounts and the importance of transparency and honesty within the community. I assure you that I will not repeat these actions and will adhere strictly to the guidelines. Moving forward, I will only use one account for all my contributions to avoid any further confusion or policy violations. My goal is to make meaningful and productive contributions to Wikipedia. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and believe that I can add valuable content to the encyclopedia. I regret that my unfamiliarity with the rules led to this situation, and I am eager to demonstrate my commitment to contributing positively. To clarify the situation:

The "Ilya Surhayoğlu" account was created with the mistaken belief that user pages function similarly to articles. This was a misunderstanding on my part, not an attempt to game the system or promote an individual.

My use of the account was not for self-promotion or to mislead the community but rather due to a lack of familiarity with Wikipedia's policies. I now understand the correct procedures and will follow them diligently. Given the above points, I respectfully request that my block be reconsidered. I understand the reasons for the block and assure you that I will not repeat the same mistakes. I am committed to making constructive and policy-compliant contributions to Wikipedia. And I mentioned that I use multiple accounts, and the administrator must have missthought about me, you know the situation I have explained it a lot, and I think it's now clear that I didn't do this on purpose. please consider checking my appeal. Now in terms of that Surhayoğlu article made by Mohtesem_nerimanov (this isn't a new username it's the one I mentioned but fixed a typo) after my block of account and IP is expired, I will try to rewrite the Ilya Surkhayoglu article this time with consideration of Wikipedia policies. Thank you for considering my appeal. I am willing to answer any further questions or provide additional information if needed.

Did you use an AI/LLM in making this requests? Show up as a clear positive in multiple checkers. If so, admins rarely consider requests like that as they want to hear the editor's words, not the words generated from a set of text prediction algorithms. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 15:54, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@CoffeeCrumbs I didn't use AI sir I read the guideline to request an unblock it was written that it should contain sentences that shows you have known your mistake and you will act in guidelines, I didn't create it with Ai no it's my own words Ilya Surhayoğlu (talk) 18:01, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's for an admin to sort out, but I'm quite skeptical. This last reply is very different in English fluency from your "own words" above. In any case, I was only hoping to give you a better chance at making a successful unblock request, so best of luck to you. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 19:24, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@CoffeeCrumbs Well I'm grateful that you care and try to acknowledge me so I would successfully recover my account, and about what you said about English fluency, as you have already noticed my English level isn't as perfect as a native speaker, but it's enough for me to make a formal appeal, I just made the appeal more formal, and that's the reason for the change of tone, anyway again thanks for your concern.
