There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia; and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:41, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

This new proposed username has been checked against Wikipedia's username guidelines tool and passed the check. We would also be aligning ourselves with G12 of Wikipedia's guidelines and removing the copyright infringement segments and rewriting the segment. For G11, we would like to clarify that this Wikipedia page is not for self-promotion or puffery.

Decline reason:

The fact that you are referencing CSD criteria (which are instructions for deleting articles) and not content guidelines (which are instructions on writing articles) is enough to give me pause, but more concerning is your use of the first person plural, which suggests that more than one person has access to this account. That in itself is enough to warrant leaving this account permanently blocked. Yunshui  08:31, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Firstly, thank you Just Chilling for approving my username change request. Secondly, my sincere apologies for using the term "we" when describing my situation - I would like to clarity and confirm that I am the only person with access to this account. I also acknowledge and would like to apologise for creating the Cheryl Lee account to repost the content - my assumption was that since I had fumbled with my username error + first person plural error with this account, perhaps if I got it right the first time round with the other account, it'd be easier to get the content through. I am a new user to Wikipedia and I apologise sincerely for all three mistakes. Could the blocking admins help me out with the editing of my article? I have removed any links to external pages and also addressed the copyright issue that was highlighted previously - can I find out how else I can improve my content? I genuinely would like to make a useful contribution to Wikipedia and am a huge fan of the site. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

Decline reason:

It's rather obvious that you're here to promote your company, likely in violation of the disclosure requirements. Thus I don't see that unblocking you would improve the encyclopedia. Huon (talk) 21:22, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
