Re: Daði Freyr Arnarsson[edit]

Let me get a few little things out of the way first before getting into the meat of this post. Please sign you talk page comments by typing four tildes (~~~~) after them. This displays you username and a timestamp making it easier to keep track of who said what and when. Second let me explain disambiguation hatnotes. The reason titles of some articles include a profession in brackets following the person's name is to distinguish articles on people who happen to have the same name. (E.g. Winston Churchill and Winston Churchill (novelist).) In the case of Arnarsson this is not necessary.

All that being said, let me stress this again. Arnarsson does not meet the relevant notability guidelines at present. If you recreate the article, it will only be deleted again. For a footballer to have an article on Wikipedia, they must WP:NFOOTBALL, which is to say they must have played in one of the fully professional leagues listed here or for their country's senior national team. Arnarsson has done neither. Now if he's as good as you seem to think he is, one of these things will happen sooner or later and the article may be recreated then, but no sooner.

Finally, I should also mention that the way article is written has had no bearing the deletion of this article. You've done good work here, which makes all the more unfortunate that you've put so much effort into an article that does not meet the criteria for inclusion. I hope that clears things up.
