Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Mimi Clark.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Mimi Clark.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. We have really strict rules about non-free content

Hi J is for Jesus. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. I see by the above templated messages that you have been having trouble with your non-free image uploads. As you may have gathered by now, Wikipedia has really strict rules about non-free content – what is allowed and not allowed. These restrictions are in place to protect the rights of copyright holders of the images in question. The main problem with your uploads is that they're for the most part non-free images of living persons; such images are not permitted under our non-free content policy. For record albums, we do permit a scaled-down image of the album cover in the info box or at the top of the article, but that's it – in almost all cases there should be no other non-free images in articles about record albums. If you have contact with the musical groups whose articles you are trying to improve, you might like to consider asking for permission to display their images here. There's instructions on how to do that at WP:CONSENT. In a nutshell, the copyright holder of the image has to send an email directly to the OTRS team. The email is permanently kept on file and a ticket is added to the image showing we have permission to display it here. Regardless, I strongly suggest that you do not upload any further non-free images until you have read and understand the material at Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria.
