File copyright problem with File:Hailey's On It! logo.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Hailey's On It! logo.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Vladlen Manilov / 04:21, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

History Merge[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Hailey's On It! a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Hailey's On It!. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. I understand you are trying to help[edit]

But edits like this aren't helpful, to be honest. Not everything you added is bad, obviously, but it should be added in section by section without erasing the work of other editors on the page. Historyday01 (talk) 21:30, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The same goes for edits like this. The episodes have now been kept, so can you stop messing with the Hailey's On It! page? It helps no one.Historyday01 (talk) 18:25, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

May 2023[edit]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Hailey's On It!, you may be blocked from editing. You claimed that "there is nothing wrong with this page" and that "it was looked over by an admin and they made no changes", both of which ignore the reality that your edits are wholly unhelpful, even though some good content is mixed in. In addition, please stop adding unreferenced/poorly referenced content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at the same page. Also, the series description you used is copied from the Disney site for the show! Copyrighted content for the series description is not good, as it makes it possible to be removed, causing issues for users and editors.Historyday01 (talk) 00:26, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Monster High 2 Poster.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Monster High 2 Poster.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:30, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Damsel 2024 poster2.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Damsel 2024 poster2.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Replaceable non-free use File:Lola Tung.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lola Tung.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
