George Ord
[edit]There must be some confusion: he wasn't Lord Lieutenant of the county. You seem to have muddled up his Gazetted commission as assistant surgeon to the 4th Surrey Rifle Volunteers, which was signed by the Lord Lieutenant. Choess (talk) 14:08, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
- You might also find Template:London Gazette helpful. If you put in an issue, page, and date, it automatically generates a reference and link to the right place in the Gazette. Choess (talk) 14:41, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
