Thank you for uploading File:Razak Atunwa 1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 21:30, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Zak Office-1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 21:31, 21 June 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Image Screening Bot (talk) 21:31, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Jembola! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 332 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Razak Atunwa - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

[edit]

Thanks for email. The article itself was deleted as a copyright violation, and talk pages cannot be kept without the article page. You said This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (the content of the page is biographical and correct. That's irrelevant, you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

You said attempted to gain back control of the original page, please see WP:Own

You appear to have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that he meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Thanks for email. The text was a copyright violation (again), not just the images. We don't restore copyright content for legal reasons. Please read again what I've posted above, you can't just post what you like here Jimfbleak - talk to me? 19:34, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
As I've just said, I'm not prepared to refund copyright material. You know what the copyright text said because you know where you copied it from. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:11, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The copied text was this. The article Razak Atunwa posted by you on 9 July 2019 was a copyright violation of that, so it's simply not true that you haven't seen that page and that someone else posted the copyright violation, you did it yourself. You referred to your 2010 version, but at your last edit, that didn't have any references at all, let alone to WP:RS sources Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:32, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
