Hi all. Most of my Wikipedia contributions have been in the areas of science, specifically biomechanics, biology, and sometimes physics and engineering. I have degrees in a few of those subjects, but by no means consider myself an 'expert.' Most of my contributions to Wikipedia in these areas have not been while logged in simply because I forget to do so! In addition to these subjects in which I am well-schooled, my other contributions have mainly been to pages about plants (a special fascination of mine) as well as edits to controversial pages for content and appropriateness (to ensure mature and balanced treatment of subject material).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tilde characters like this ~~~~; this will automatically sign your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Nice to meet you! Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:49, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia, nice to see another biomechanics person around! I'm a terrestrial locomotion person myself. Just FYI, there's actually an Organismal Biomechanics WikiProject, which can help coordinate efforts to improve pages, keep track of pages in need of improvement, and generally help one another out. Template:Flag-article

[edit]

Hello, Jgreeter … FYI, the {{Flag-article}} template is for article Talk pages, not User pages, so this edit was totally inappropriate, and I have reverted it … BTW, I discovered the error because it added the user's page to Category:Flagged articles. My mistake, though the information provided on the page is clearly nonsense. Jgreeter (talk) 23:31, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Conservation and weedy plants

[edit]

Hello Jgreeter, sorry I had to reji Melaleuca quinquenervia back, most of our plant articles follow a set layout. A better way to get the message "out there" is thus. I am a bit of a greenie myself so I expanded and buffed Gaultheria hispidula so we can get it on the DYK section of the main page. and hence a bunch of folks will see it. Follow my edits. Saw the article up there in the limelight! Awesome! Jgreeter (talk) 23:32, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
