User talk:Jkinzler777
The article John J. Powers (actor, comedian) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not meet criteria of WP:BIO.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 17:05, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
I will move it back to my personal space and keep working. I would like you to look at two wiki articles nearly identical that have remained forever, so I don't understand why there is such a problem. I expect the article to grow as he is destined for true notoriety Jkinzler777 (talk) 14:31, 19 July 2011 (UTC)--Jkinzler777 (talk) 14:31, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the John J. Powers (actor, comedian) article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

[edit]Again, welcome! Based on the history on your talk page it looks like your experience with Wikipedia has been a frustrating one thus far; please let me know if you have any questions. - Jkinzler777 (talk) 22:40, 21 July 2011 (UTC)--Jkinzler777 (talk) 22:40, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Yes it has been very frustrating. It seems simple enough -- one admin says do this, I do it, another doesn't like it! One in particular seems hell bound to make sure it is deleted. I will check out the links .... thanks so much!
- Discussions are more likely to be productive if they focus on the articles and relevant policies, rather than individuals (administrator or not). FYI, convention on talk pages is to indent replies using colons (I modified your post just above to do this, for example), and to sign posts with four tildes (~~~~) at the end of the post rather than the start.
