The article Mozzy (rapper) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. reddogsix (talk) 01:47, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Mozzy (rapper)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Mozzy (rapper) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. //nepaxt 01:54, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Deletion of page mozzy (rapper)
[edit]I would like to take responsibility for and ask you not to delete my page, Mozzy (rapper), on the grounds that i had planned to add references, but i was not as prepared as i thought i was in making my first page, and made an honest mistake in publishing it. I pressed the button that said "save page", thinking it would be saved as a draft for me to finish later, that's obviously not what happened. I'm terribly sorry for this misunderstanding and hope you take it into consideration when deciding the fate of my page. And also, if you could give me some references from the old mozzy page i found from a dead link, that would be great, cause i could always use some more research material if my article isn't taken down. Again very sorry, and thank you for taking your time to read this message. JonCruz14 (talk) 02:21, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
- I think you need to read the notability guideline. Unsigned rappers are generally not notable for inclusion in English Wikipedia. //nepaxt 02:30, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
- You can ask an administrator to retrieve your page on the administrator's noticeboard. I am not an administrator. He/she can put the article in your sandbox so that you can work on it. But, I don't think your article is notable to include in Wikipedia, because he is an unsigned rapper. //nepaxt 20:29, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Mozzy does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! SummerPhDv2.0 17:42, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive behaviour. Your behaviour is verging on harassment. Wikipedia prides itself on providing a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users, as you did on SummerPhDv2.0, potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue behaving like this, you may be blocked from editing. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 22:17, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:38, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
2019 US Banknote Contest
[edit]US Banknote Contest | ||
---|---|---|
November-December 2019 | ||
There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here |
