[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Ashgrove Apartments has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://ashgrovehaunting.wordpress.com/.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. The article The Ashgrove Apartments has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article appears to be a hoax promoting a film called the Occupant. External links provided are basically the only references for this "building" when a google search is performed and the angelfire one appears to have been set up solely to give the story an air of history and legitimacy (with the exception of a blog in which the author searches for information on the building identifying only the sites given in external links. A search for the "pulitzer winning writer" Branstom Shamley (a clue to the veracity of the article in his name) pulls back only this article and mirrors - suggesting that he does not exist. The reference "Haunted Apartments of New York" does not appear to exist according to a google search either and the lack of page numbers for any reference seem to be a deliberate attempt to prevent readers following up on the citations. In addition, the article creator has only ever made a few edits, all to this article, further suggesting a hoax.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fenix down (talk) 15:54, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
