If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:K5 International, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

this is my first time editing I was not aware of any of these guidelines. I am not sure how was the article promonotional since all the information I provided came from official sources like articles from variety, imdb etc. At no point was any information given that was not stating facts. Regarding the username this was the first thing that came in my mind since I was editing an article whose subject was this company. I wanted to create this article because I saw the company mentioned under the Horizon: An American Saga wikipedia pages and since I am in the film industry, there were many times that I needed to do research on companies and due to the lack of their profiles on wikipedia it used to take me hours. This way is easier for professionals trying to conduct research K5Film Germany (talk) 17:36, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You appear to work for K5, if so, you have a conflict of interest and are a paid editor. What you did is considered promotional on Wikipedia, you do not have to be actively soliciting customers or selling something. Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell about themselves and what they do. Wikipedia is not a database of companies that exist, it has criteria for inclusion. A Wikipedia article about a company must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Just summarizing its activities is insufficient, we need sources that discuss what they see as important/significant/influential about the company. Its films getting awards might merit the films articles, but not the company itself. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you want to be a more general contributor, please tell what topics you might edit about instead. 331dot (talk) 08:05, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
