[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 15:00, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • globally renamed Lounges.tv to Kai103.
  • please carry the remainder of your request here for review.

Request reason:

Hello. First of all sorry. I am new to Wikipedia and didn't fully understand the rules for creating a business account or promotion. After reading the terms after the block I fully accept the reason for my block and would like to be unblocked so it would be possible to make changes to other pages, whether that be fact checking, updating stats, or punctuation. On top of this, the IP block is blocking the entire office I work in so nobody can make an account. I hope you understand and again I apologise for not reading the terms beforehand. Let me know if there is anything else I can do! Kai103 (talk) 16:07, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

We don't have business accounts here. Accounts are for individuals. We aren't concerned with how this block affects others in your office. Others in your office wishing to create accounts may request them via WP:ACC(though they shouldn't edit about your company as they would get blocked themselves as a meat puppet of you) and then request unblock themselves. Please tell what other articles you want to edit along with your compliance with WP:PAID and WP:COI and your agreement to refrain from further edits about your company at this time. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 16:36, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hey @331dot, I would like to request an appeal of a ban on my account and IP address. I apologise for trying to create a business account. I do now understand that accounts are for just for individuals and I would like to be unblocked so I can make use of it. I would like to submit my compliance with WP:PAID and WP:COI and my agreement to refrain from further edits about my company now and in the future. I also send my sincere apologies.

I would also like to be unblocked (and the IP unblocked) so that anyone in my office space will be able to make accounts without any issues, for their personal use for example. I would also like to be unblocked so I can use my account and this IP address to edit/update articles that I find interesting on a personal level. These include updating the stats on racing drivers pages as that is a passion of mine, as well as fact checking. Punctuation also! Any sports people pages especially in motorsport I would love to be able to make changes too to make Wikipedia the number 1 place for any fact checking.

Thank you for considering my appeal.

Let me know if there is anything else you'd like from me.

Per the discussion below. All seem to point to an unblock. UtherSRG (talk) 15:23, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kai103, will you commit to disclosing your WP:Conflict of interest, and not editing about the company you work for? PhilKnight (talk) 16:20, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I commit yes, what do you need from me in regards to disclosing it? & Yes I accept and will not edit about the company I work for at anytime. Kai103 (talk) 09:46, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#How_to_disclose_a_COI. PhilKnight (talk) 13:22, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hope this is okay. Let me know if I need to do anything else. Thanks. Kai103 (talk) 14:53, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Isabelle Belato: OK to unblock? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:45, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be an IP unblock too? - just so if anyone in my large office space wants to use Wikipedia themselves they can without them being blocked. Thank you for considering! Kai103 (talk) 08:59, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Deepfriedokra: Seems good to go. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 10:17, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Kai103: Yes, but if they are going to edit from that IP about your company, you'll both/all wind up blocked for WP:sock puppetry. Just a word to the wise.😋 -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:34, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Isabelle Belato: I know there's a way to disclose that a user shares an IP with other users, but I cannot find it. I think that would be needed by users sharing an office. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:38, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what template that might be, as I don'r recall ever seeing it. I see {{User shared IP address}}, but that's not the case here. I guess a note on their userpage , alongside the COI template should suffice. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 11:20, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, nobody is going to edit about our company at this IP or anywhere! Thanks Kai103 (talk) 11:17, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No. Thank you 😀 -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 13:47, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Will I get a notification once I'm unblocked? Thanks again Kai103 (talk) 14:29, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
LOL. You take one little desperately need nap 😋. Welcome back -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:57, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much! Apologies again for my actions before. I appreciate all of you. Kai103 (talk) 10:07, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
