Welcome[edit]

Hello Kalzombieplays and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Americans, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 03:07, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm RightCowLeftCoast. I noticed that you recently removed content from Americans without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.--RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 04:09, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

March 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robertsky. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rusev (wrestler), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. robertsky (talk) 09:17, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to TheOdd1sOut. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Hull Cogan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. signed, Rosguill talk 19:04, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

July 2021[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Maynard James Keenan, you may be blocked from editing. Robvanvee 11:18, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

April 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Andy Summers, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. So please don't do this kind of stuff anymore; it's not helpful. Drmies (talk) 01:13, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand what I did wrong, could you please take the time to explain? Kalzombieplays (talk) 01:15, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You're making edits removing things like "professionally known as", arguing that their professional names are mere and obvious abbreviations. They are not. Between "Andrew James Summers" and "Andy Summers" is a pretty big distance. Same with Jack Black and Tom Cruise. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:17, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
