- Prove me that Lakshmi is supreme Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 03:05, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
- Every deity is supreme to their worshipers. Except maybe yours? Which imaginary being do you claim to revere? Skyerise (talk) 01:04, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Chronikhiles (talk) 03:04, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Eucalyptusmint. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tripura Sundari, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please don't remove sourced content from the article. I encourage you to use the article talk page if you have concerns about it. Eucalyptusmint (talk) 00:09, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
Please note that we do not source articles to religious texts. Please find academic sources to support your changes, not religious sources. Specifically, we may not purport to interpret such texts. We must rely on third-party analysis. Skyerise (talk) 00:55, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise Hello It's a religious topic so why can't we quote it from authentic source Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:04, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- You just can't. It's not objective. We report what secondary academic sources say, because we are an encyclopedia, not a hymnal. Skyerise (talk) 01:07, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Tripura Sundari shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Skyerise (talk) 01:07, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise I have JUST REMOVED THE VAISHNAV CONTENT THEIR. THESE VAISHNAVS HAD FALSELY CLAIMED TRIPURA SUNDARI AS LAKSHMI. Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:09, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- You don't get to do that. All points of view are represented here. If you continue to engage in sectarian editing disputes by removing the views of other sects, you WILL be blocked from editing. If subverts one of our prime poloicies: maintaining a neutral point of view. If you think you are right and others are wrong, you have no place editing here. Skyerise (talk) 01:12, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise Vaishnavs are wrong at so many levels. Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:15, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- No, they aren't. They just have different beliefs than you. I'm having you blocked, as you are here to push your religious views on others, not write a neutral encyclopedia. Skyerise (talk) 01:17, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise Ok so can't I add my perspective!!! Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:18, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise You don't have any knowledge about Indian gods Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:18, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- No, you cannot add "your" perspective. You can only add the perspective of the third-party sources you cite as sources. Skyerise (talk) 01:20, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise So according to you Mata Parvati is not supreme only Lakshmi is supreme?? Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:24, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise When Kaushiki is mentioned only in Shakta and Shaiva texts why the hell she is being claimed as Lakshmi Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:24, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't write the article. I am just keeping you from vandalizing it by removing sourced material. Skyerise (talk) 01:26, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise Ok I would provide more authentic information about her being the form of Parvati without disturbing the Vaishnav perspective. Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:31, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

Sourcing
[edit]You may not source to blogs or other low-quality web sources. Please source to academic books and journal articles on the topic. This is an encyclopedia, not your own sandbox. Please review what constitutes a reliable source. This is a serious project for scholars. What's your degree? Skyerise (talk) 01:32, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise Undergraduate Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:34, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- Well, you need to research the collaborative culture here. How new additions should be supported by strong sources. How consensus is formed by discussing changes on the talk page. "Anybody can edit" is only if they choose to learn the ropes and not edit in a disruptive manner, You recieved a welcome message with links to various policies and resources. Did you read them thoroughly? Skyerise (talk) 01:41, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Skyerise No. I have not read them. Kanishka Sajwan (talk) 01:56, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
