Adding pictures to wrong articles?

[edit]

I noticed you added the *same* picture to two different articles, Amur paradise flycatcher and Indian paradise flycatcher. And yet the picture says it is for "Indian paradise flycatcher (Terpsiphone paradisi)". Why did you add it to Amur paradise flycatcher?

And again, you added the same picture to Black-winged cuckooshrike and Large cuckooshrike. And yet the picture says it is for Black-winged Cuckooshrike. Why did you add it to Large cuckooshrike?

I haven't seen any other problems, but could you fix those two articles and check your sources? Shenme (talk) 04:49, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Image information

[edit]

Some of your images are excellent and potentially useful if you could include the location and date of photography in the Commons description field. Also note that the images are best added to complement the text - so subspecies that are not represented or images displaying specific behaviours would be great additions if that information is available. Without that information, they might only be cluttering the article and better suited for Commons galleries. Shyamal (talk) 04:23, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've just removed a large number of images that did not add anything to the article. Please don't duplicate facets that are already illustrated; these articles aren't picture galleries. And PLEASE don't just ram them into the reference section, where they screw up the formatting of the entire page! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 22:46, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hoy! Again, would you please stop trying to add images by pasting them into the external links or referenceas section (e.g., Bluethroat? This is not helpful! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 17:33, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello? Anyone at home? Please do not paste images into the references!!! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:42, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:34, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
