[edit]Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! However, you should know that it is not a good idea to remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Electric vehicle. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 13:05, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- I thought removing broken links would be really useful for wikipedia. Khouya59 (talk) 13:12, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1][2] MrOllie (talk) 14:15, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. MrOllie (talk) 13:43, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- But I added a paragraph of useful information for the reader, and added some sources that helped me in that, is this not allowed on Wikipedia? Khouya59 (talk) 13:54, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- You cannot add links to your website. It is not usable as a source - not even if you pack it into a new paragraph. MrOllie (talk) 13:55, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well, I will rewrite the paragraph without adding any link Khouya59 (talk) 14:01, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

Electric bikes
[edit]Please don't overwrite an existing disambiguation page without having a discussion on the talk page first. Or you could edit Electric bicycle instead. Leschnei (talk) 23:35, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. - I don't care, the site is not mine Khouya59 (talk) 13:16, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
