I need help please

[edit]

Hi.

How do I get rid of the "%" in the URL after I have created a new article?

Many thanks, n.

Re:Someone (from Talk:Main Page)

[edit]

Someone named Hans keeps on deleting the navigational box, which makes it more annoying to scroll around just to find some subjects. Can you please trace who this person is and try and get him not to do that? Thank you and best regards, --kitsumiti 19:08, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What navigational box are you referring to? --TantalumTelluride 19:30, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The box would be the one on the main disscusion page that records the titles that people put down.
I'd like to help, but I'm afraid I still don't know exactly which box is under attack. I'm assuming that the vandal has already stopped, since it was quite a while ago that you left that first message. If you see a problem with any persistent vandals in the future, the best way to deal with them is to list their user names at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. If you'd like to learn more about dealing with vandalism on Wikipedia, you can take a look at Wikipedia:Vandalism. I know you're a relatively new user, but you'll catch on soon. Keep looking out for those vandals! Thanks. --TantalumTelluride 17:23, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Fox223.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. permanent block tag

[edit]

Hi again Kitsumiti, I noticed that you put a permanent block tag on an IP talk page. Note that the tag itself is just a notice; an admin actually has to block for it to take effect. If you are interested in fighting vandalism, read through Counter-Vandalism Unit page and see if you want to join. They are a friendly bunch. Thanks, BanyanTree 01:48, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A question

[edit]

Thank you for contacting me. As you may have seen, my user page needs tlc. I was wondering if you could tell me, where you get boxes, similar to the ones seen on your user page i.e., “This User is a Roman Catholic.” Thank You, --Hacky 00:10, 25 May 2006 (UTC) Cancel last message, I figured it out myself, Thank you again, that committie is very nice.--Hacky 00:32, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help

[edit]

What do you need help with? --pgk(talk) 20:02, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I need to know if It is only Admins that can make bots or if normal users can program some to look after wikipedia for mistakes and editing and such.Kitsumiti

It isn't just admin who run bots, you do however need permission to run bots and certain types of bots are frowned upon and not allowed (e.g. Spell checking or enforcing the manual of style). You can take a look at WP:BOT to read more. --pgk(talk) 20:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your gesture of welcome to Wikipedia. (PS: As I'm new I think this is in the wrong place, judging by your contents box. I daresay you will amend as necessary. Apologies for any inconvenience

I need to know how to find templates like the one on User:Sango123's User page or somthing that would organize my page better. Thank you. --Kitsumiti

If you are looking for userboxes, see this page. Cheers, Tangotango 17:58, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sorry, you already have some userboxes :) as for the boxes on Sango123's page, I suggest you just steal (borrow) the code off the page and customize it to your own needs and desires. - Tangotango 18:02, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like Sango123 has created a number of subpages to create his layout. For example, User:Sango123/User/Sango123 is one of them. You'll need to create your own versions of these. - Tangotango 18:17, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can also create User:Kitsumiti/Signature. Also don't forget to use an Edit summary. FellowWikipedian 23:16, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pure felinity

[edit]

The article Pure felinity has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 17:07, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Template:User artemis

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:User artemis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:54, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
