Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Uruguay national football team, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Bocafan76 (talk) 20:47, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, the tables that you have added to the Uruguay national football team are not standard or agree upon by consensus to be used in National football team articles, if you don't like the current standard you are welcome to open a discussion about changing it on WT:FOOTY. Regards --Bocafan76 (talk) 20:51, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- The table of the squad of Uruguay national football team that I made, is the same as the Slovakia national football team, this contain more information about the team.
- Hi again, just finished fixing the Slovakia national football team, so the article is up to standard, the information about the footballers debut with their corresponding national team, should be added the the players article and not to the national team article. Regards --Bocafan76 (talk) 22:12, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi once more, the template that you removed from the Uruguay national football team article was added for a reason. If you look at the discussion page of the article, you will realize that the reason was that the stats are wrong and that's why the template was added, please don't remove the template unless all of the stats are correct. Regards --Bocafan76 (talk) 21:27, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
June 2011
[edit]Greetings,
Many of your edits have been reverted for a number of reasons. 1) This was reverted because multiple qualification is handled differently. Look at examples of multiple qualification here, here, and here. 2) This was reverted because Penarol is qualified to the 2012 Copa Libertadores. Their berth may change if they win the 2011 edition, but regardless they are still in. 3) This was reverted for a) the same reason as #1, and b) because the positions by round has no source and is considered original research, which is not allowed. 4) This was reverted because titles are not given for winning the Apertura and Clausura in the same was they do in Argentina and the likes, and because when you win the season in Uruguay, you are considered the champion. Lastly, 5) this was reverted because those parameters are unnecessary when the season is over, or those parameters don't apply. Nacional isn't the champion because of the aggregate table, but because of a playoff. It is misleading to mention that in the aggregate.
Aside from that you do good when it comes to Uruguayan football. But if you to do disruptive reverts like this, I will have to take action against it. Thanks in advance. Digirami (talk) 21:24, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
1) Look the example of Premier League. 2) If Fénix or Bella Vista wins the 2011 Copa Sudamericana will earn the Uruguay 3 berth for 2012 Copa Libertadores, see here. 3) This is the same reason as #1, the results by round I do it when the tournament advances in the history of the article you can see the positions of the team at weeks indicated. 4) In Uruguay the Apertura's winners and the Clausura's winners earn a trophy and qualify for the chanpionship play-offs, for the AUF there are official tournaments.
- 1) My examples have been around for much longer. There is a special template just for such situations. 2) As of now, Penarol is in. Of course, that may change. But in the meantime, it needs to reflect the present. 3) Once it's finished, that parameter is not needed; you'll end up with two things doing the same thing and the "qualification" column does a much better job at it. 2) Find me the titles in this list. Those are the only titles that matter. Digirami (talk) 23:17, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- 1) The article of Premier League is the most complete, it's an example for other competitions. 2) If Peñarol is in the 2012 Copa Libertadores, Fénix is in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana but the article don't include that team in the international qualification. 4) The rules of the tournament state that there are a champion of Apertura and Clausura, see here, here, and here
- 1) "Completeless" is a lame argument. Fact is, those articles use it more frequently and in more articles. Go check. 2) That's if. But for now, they are in. 4) Even so, no club season article in wiki specifies how many titles they have won in the infoboxes of club season article; just position. Not a single one. It's not convention. 6) Plus, it's spelled "title", not "tittle". Digirami (talk) 02:32, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- 2) Fénix is in also but don't appears in the international qualifications. If Fénix or Bella Vista wins the 2011 Copa Sudamerican Peñarol don't qualifiy for the 2012 Copa Libertadores, there isn't in. If Peñarol is in the 2012 Copa Libertadores, Fénix is in in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana, but Fénix don't appears in the international qualifications. 7) The manager's nationality can be appeared, see here, here and here.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited South American Women's Basketball League, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Central University, Vélez Sarsfield and Paola Ferrari. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
