I re-arranged some of the material from the joint attention article in the sandbox on Paulas page. Let me know what you think.Amae2 (talk) 05:15, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
Joint Attention and deafness
[edit]LianneAnna
I rearranged a bit on the main page and left a longer possible revision on the talk page. I was trying to reduce the redundancy that seemed to develop between the two sections. See what you think and use what you like. Some rogue references in that section though.

Citations
[edit]Where are the references you pointed out on the talk page? I could not find them so I am not sure what needed to be changed? I think we should also do as suggested by Paula and remove the extra citations that are "cited in". Amae2 (talk) 00:53, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes please to the info on dogs. Amae2 (talk) 03:22, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Could you also align your citations for everything that comes out of In T. Matsuzawa M. Tomonaga & M. Tanaka (Eds.), Cognitive Development in Chimpanzees (pp.155–171). Tokyo: Springer-Verlag. Thanks.Amae2 (talk) 03:39, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Joint attention
[edit]On 10 April 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Joint attention, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that infants are so motivated to engage in joint attention that they will turn away from interesting sights to do so? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Joint attention. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
