Also, I heavily modified your article Thai Agriculture and moved it to Agriculture of Thailand. I have no knowledge on the subject but I needed to link the article to existing concepts within Wikipedia, so I may have bastardised it somewhat in my copediting. Feel free to recorrect it! -- Natalinasmpf 06:14, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
copyright status
[edit]Hello again. The image you uploaded of the high school - there's no source implied, and I am afraid it's likely not going to be under a free license (such as under the GNU Free Documentation License or Creative Commons), which only Wikipedia can use in order to prevent copyright problems. It will probably be deleted. Hopefully someone else could have a free picture somewhere? -- Natalinasmpf 03:01, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I believe this article has potential. Could you work on...
- putting quotation marks around quoted text
- adding a list of sources with author, title, date, etc. (see Wikipedia:Cite sources for style tips)

Unspecified source for Image:Centenery_Medal_image.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Centenery_Medal_image.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:15, 20 February 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Iamunknown 19:15, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Derek Tribe
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Derek Tribe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Interlude 65 02:34, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
Status and Advice
[edit]As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article because it is entirtely promotional and would need to be rewritten
A Wikipedia article needs to be written like an encyclopedia article, not a press release--don't praise the organization or person, say what they do. Therefore, it is not a good idea to copy or paraphrase from a web site, even your own -- first it's a copyright violation, but, even if you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to WP:DCM, the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable. (Thus, there is no purpose in giving permission; it is better to rewrite.) As for the illustration, that must be licensed separately--see WP:COPYRIGHT for the explanation.
Please see the way we handle similar biographies. Then do it over, from the start. See WP:AUTHOR and WP:PROF for the appropriate content. A Wikipedia article needs to show notability with references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases.
It will help you to see our guide to writing Wikipedia article, WP:FIRST.
I specialize here in this sort of article on academics, and I will give you further help if needed; just ask on my talk p. DGG ( talk ) 06:40, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Boussingault new sign IMGP0159.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 17:20, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
The file File:Tony and Robyn's.pdf has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unused personal image
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Train2104 (t • c) 21:27, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
