Hi k6ka,

It is indeed for a company. I own the company and was looking to start a wikipedia page for the company purely to give information about ourselves. I'm completely new to Wikipedia, so I apologise if this is the incorrect manner of going about setting up the page. I'm more than happy to provide any kind of evidence required if necessary to enable the page to be created.

Hi. We disallow company names because it is misleading to others and Wikipedia is not the place to advertise. If you write an article about your company under your current username, there would be conflict of interest involved. Therefore, you have to change your username.
