File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Lloydevans.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Lloydevans.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 17:55, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Lloydevans.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Lloydevans.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 14:25, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Lloydevans.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Image problems[edit]

It appears you don't understand wikipedia use of non-free images. In the vast majority of cases we don't accept non-free images of living people and any non-free image must comply with all 10 non-free content guidelines, the first of which is that if an image is replaceable we will not accept it. Because this person is alive the image is not acceptable unless the copyright holder releases it under a free licence and verifies that permission by following the procedure found at WP:CONSENT but you claim it is non-free. Beside which it would appear that you have a conflict of interest if you are actually Lloyd Evans. You may find it useful to read my image copyright information page. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 15:44, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your feedback[edit]

Don't create a real article about yourself, use you user subpages. Example: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LloydyEvans/PAGENAME.

Please may I have my account unblocked, I feel as though I have served a long enough punishment and also feel as though I have learnt from my mistakes, I understand if you do not wish for me to be unblocked but I feel that this would be unjust. LloydyEvans (talk) 21:09, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
