using the 'Willamette Meteorite' photo
Dear Loadmaster,
I'm writing on behalf of Studio-X ISTANBUL which is an initiative of Columbia University Architecture Department. As Studio-X Istanbul, we will be publishing a book about a natural history museum that had been established in 19th Century in İstanbul. If you're interested I can also provide more information about the book.,
Anyhow, we're willing to use one of the meteorite images in wikipedia. Though we're trying to contact the relevant person in order to use them. Will it be enough to make a clear attribution in the 'credits' part of the book?

- Yes. (I assume you're referring to File:Willamette-meteorite-7637.jpg and File:Willamette-meteorite-7588.jpg.) As per the Creative Commons licensing, all you have to do is mention the source of the image somewhere in the publication (i.e., it does not have to be located next to the image iteself). Mentioning my name and optionally "Wikimedia Commons" is sufficient credit. Hello, Loadmaster. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Dispute Notification
I have filed a dispute on the article of Fidel Castro. I do this because it is recommended "If you begin a discussion of another user on a common notice board, it is expected that you will notify the subject user by posting a message on their talk page". Do not report me as vandal. This is the only instance in which I will write something here. If this is not the way to do it, let me know how it is done. If you are saying that I wrote something directed towards you on the Fidel Castro talk page, you are mistaken; and I certainly have not reported you as a vandal. I see that you responded to my question in the "Deaths" section, but other than that I have had no interaction with you on that page (or any other page). Trying to understand your edit at Twelfth root of two
Hi! On January 4, 2017, you made some edits to a table on the page Twelfth root of two. On the edit pages, after such coding as (for example) {{frac|7|5}}, you added things like <!-- -1.4% --> . Your explanation reads, "The equal-tempered chromatic scale: Approx ratios.) I can't figure out what they're for. As far as I can tell, they make no difference to the actual page. If for nothing more than my curiosity, could you explain these, please? Thank you. By the way, just today, I added a column for interval names to that table. - Update! I did some searching and found that the angled brackets, exclamation point, and dashes are to enclose a comment within coding, so that the comment doesn't show in the final product. I've been guessing that the percentages give some sort of relationship between different tuning systems. But if it's OK with you, I'm still curious to know more.
